I’m so fortunate that my school had a free therapist that worked through the college with our high school. When I finally said “screw the ocd.” I was given the resources to reach her and she was perfect. Always made sure I was comfortable and ready to talk. I looked forward to our sessions! Remember that there are resources to help :)! Even if you can’t find it at first.

I actually had summer school during covid, and boy, was it stressful. I barely did anything in the online class and would stress abt it like crazy!! When it was over I found out that the work wasn't mandatory so I was stressing for nothing. This video helped remind me of those traumatic times. 😅

I feel your pain 😢. The summer of 2022 was pretty good but I couldn't enjoy the final 4 weeks. I went to disney land and the beach and I also took a tour of Sofi stadium and my family from Mexico came to california as well, and everything was going good I knew it was going to be a good final 4 weeks, except for the F*****g hw I couldnt enjoy California. Finally after I try to give it in and present my project I presented it until October. So that feeling that you felt to middle school, I felt it to this past summer of 2022. Thankfully I transfered schools and I dont even have to do nothing for it.

So I have a similar story. This summer for me is the big transition from 5th to 6th grade. Me being the freaking math nerd that I am, I got the opportunity to skip two grades of math. This obviously required you to pass a couple tests. Anyways, there was this summer course that the school was offering for students who got into the program. As you can probably guess, this was a one month long summer course that is still going on everyday. Idk but something about doing school in the summer really just doesn’t sit well with me. This video helped me relate to what I am going through. Also who thinks horchata deserves and Oscar for how many stories he has come up with?

I start middle school on August 15. But the summer homework I had for fifth grade was two gaint books and neither 5th grade teacher asked for it, and I wasted my precious homework. But my middle school homework was on light packet with a book report that I finished in a week.
