@@nishankartv aisa hi downfall hamne West Indies cricket ka bhi dekha tha, I don't think utna hoga but unke bhi youngsters sports mein cricket second option hi rakh rahe thei. If you remember Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake were cricketers before opting for sprinting kuki waha pe Olympians ke liye opportunities jyaada hai. Not only Olympics but there youngsters are going for Basketball and Baseball over cricket kuki inn dono sports se unko NBA aur MLB ke opportunities jaha pe bahut jyada paisa hai jo tumhe batane ki zarurat nhi. You know MLB and NBA. Same thing is happening in England, England bhi cricket ko itna seriously nahi leta other than Ashes. Football and Rugby is followed passionately there and cricket is number 3 option for them. Ashes ne hi England aur Australia mein cricket zinda rakha hai.

This is the time ICC/BCCI should understand Globalization of Cricket is very important.Funding growing nation will benifit them more.People in Australia are getting boared watching same Australia vs England or NZ or India.There are no new teams who will give them fight .Fund more in Japan, Malaysia,Uganda, Argentina, Brazil,Thailand etc so they can grow and give top nations a proper fight.So that world cup doesn't feel like only 10-15 countries tournament

Bro Cricket is being revived in Australia, BBL's last season was pretty much better and it is finding its path again, and Cricket is in their roots,and yes it is woke up again after 2023 ashes series both in England and Australia. Sorry to say but fact are facts, ICC I mean BCCI is responsible for this they are failed to Globalize this beautiful game. In 2016 cricket participation was 1.6 million they were no 1 in term of participation I think due to some crisis like cricketer strike in 2017 ban on the top player like smith and warner after sandpaper gate in 2018 and covid 19 make attendance down. Cricketer ki average salary hone maximum 2-3 m dollar per year, Other sports me dekhe to salary jada hote like football me average salary of pl players is 70k per week Rugby and basketball me bhi around 50k tak per week ki hote. Shayad issliye downfall ho raha.and iss bar fifa me Australia ki ache performance thi to aur motivation mila honga young generation ko ki ha haam log bhi khel sakte and they can also play in europe for big clubs .

When world cup final has ended in india that time in australia was near to 5.00 A.M. what you expect ? Then will watch whole match without sleeping ? When they was 5 th time champion . Wining world cup was there daily routine. so don't expect the mass celebration at very early morning. I remebered that 2015 is my most boring world cup because time table did't match indian time zone. So i have weak memory about that world cup.

Sirr football is also mostly viewed by europeans and some south americans , europeans even watch saudi league and other leagues even if they are too small so similarly south asians watch all cricket available because thats the love of game . A normal indian or south asian wont watch football with passion similarly other countires wont watch cricket like that . Australia told they had to cancel the celebration around the sydeny stadium because of players being in india and some have bbl duties and then they have test series . For now it is planned they will celebrate on boxing day test or the test before that with the fans in the stadium .
