Bill is such an inspirational guy and captivating to watch. I really enjoy watching these videos where he is almost preaching to us about how beautiful painting can be with the almighty stroke. Much appreciate the upload and please keep 'em comming!! We can all use a little bit of Bill in these crazy days.

Almost 6 minutes before the first stroke of paint hits the canvas. Bill was so confident in his abilities, he didn't worry about getting it done. A great man.

25 or 30 mins,and he throws together some really nice stuff.Bob Ross is amazing too,but Bill ,to me ,is a better teacher and I prefer his work.It is almost magical.

I am happy that our lifetimes overlapped and that I get to learn from such a wonderful man. Thank you for each upload, I have to cut a palette next-I see AA no longer sells one, or perhaps never did. I will try to copy Bill's pattern from the screen-maybe make it bigger as he speaks of here.

Wade Patton Alexander Art did sell his palette. Notice the slot where his hand goes. It is for holding brushes.

To clean smaller brushes in a simple way, use a kitchen sink strainer (the wire mesh ones, about 4 dollars at hardware store). Flip it upside down in a container, fill about an inch or two of spirits, works like a charm 👍

Wonder if he uses a new palette each show? What do you do with the leftover paint? Do you clean the palette completely with thinner so no paint is left? Not even a stain left?

How to make it is on KZfaq. It's just titanium white mixed with oil to the consistency of whipped cream. Much cheaper to make then to buy it . Savings!

Originally these shows were created for television. His time slot was a half hour. With commercials added in he only had 27:30 minutes.

Te refieres al cuadro o a la pintura que viene en los tubos? Porque el cuadro esta de miedo, y lastima que en Chile ahora la pintura viene desde China y no tiene la calidad de antes, a pesar que antes era para un cuatrito. Antes llegaba pintura de Holanda y Alemania (la inglesa no era tan buena) pero ahora no llega ni de Brasil.
