Oh, Lucy! Thees cards are so dang cute and the background papers couldn’t be more perfect. Flip flops are universal; men, women, and kids. Looks like you couldn’t stop making them once you started. (we used to call them thongs in the U.S. when I was a kid.)

These were such cute cards! I grew up in St. Louis Missouri in America and we used to call them thongs also when I was growing up, so I don’t think it’s just an Australia thing. I’m so glad I happened upon your channel so I have subscribed so I can follow you because I love the way you make cards and yes, I do want you to make part two of this to see what other ideas you have for these whether they be masculine, feminine, or anywhere in between. Omgoodness these are so fun as well as a handsome way to start a summer of birthdays and fun days, how awesome, you have inspired me to save up to get some summer fun flip flops, or thongs I my self call them my shoes. lol only because I can’t stand enclosed shoes so I wear these kinds as long as I can (usually until about January and into Feb after that I’m back into my comfy shoes aka thongs. 🤣🤣🤣🤣fun stuff. Tfs loving them ❤😊

Hey Lucy, I’ve missed your last few videos so I’ve been binge watching today! I haven’t done any card making for about a month so you’ve re-ignited the passion to get back into my hobby room ❤ Just love the flip flops/thongs, such fun! I have a question, my cutting plates are quite scratched and when I use glossy or shiny paper, the scratches transfer to the paper . How can I avoid this? My plates are not even a year old but the cutting dies are leaving lots of imprints. Any suggestions welcome! Thank you again for such inspirational ideas 💕

Hi Elaine! I'm so happy to hear you've been binge watching my latest videos, I hope you've enjoyed them. With cutting plates, I recommend using one as the cutting plate and keep one for the top one that stays clean so that you don't get scratches and marks on your lovely papers. Each time you buy new ones, move the top plate to the cutting plate and use a new plate for the top one again. That way you always have a clean plate on top. I hope this makes sense, if not, I did mention it in more detail in the Temu video I did where I show the replacement plates. XOX Lucy
