I had an extremely fun time at Summer of Sonic and met some great people.
I have some recordings of Bentley Jones live on stage that I may upload separately. One of them being a live performance of the song used in this video. (I faded in the audio from the live performance at the end).

This is the seconf year it's been running and they do plan on holding it again next year.

Tickets were free this year. They were first come first serve though. People without tickets could still get in but they didn't get a limited edition art book or got to play Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games before release day.

From what I could tell, there was a big age range. There were kids with their parents and some people in their late 20s, maybe older.

This was at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London. It's probably going to be held somewhere else this year though.

Hopefully Summer of Sonic gets a lot bigger in future. Like it gets US offshoot someday. I don't know if we Americans would be as dedicated to it as the Brits are. The Brits LOVE Sonic.

I got a little bit of footage from her. I forgot to put it into this video though. I might make another video of this showing the stuff I didn't put in or something like that. I had to leave a bit early to catch my train so I didn't see the cosplay awards. She was the best, IMO. I ended up bumping into Bentley Jones at the tube station on my way back. I should have asked him to give a small message to put at the end of this video.

It was indeed a great event and I'm glad I went. Should of showed some of the people drawing; might of seen me beavering away on some stuff. Great vid overall.

@EdmacZ There wasn't just Brits there last year. There were some Germans, Swedish and a couple of Americans. There were probably more but I didn't meet everyone there so I can't be sure.

The guy with the puppet was just one of the organisers. None of the voice actors were there. He does look pretty cool, but the games from that year were the worst. This is a remake of the song Seven Rings in Hand by Steve Conte from Sonic and the Secret Rings. This version is by Bentley Jones, they guy singing.

He was real don't worry, trust me, running between The special zone and back is tiring when we had to go get him ^^ (I was the staff member walking him around)

this looks awesome ^__^ is that the voice artist or something that was on stage with the puppet? 4:10 ive always prefered the 2006 sonic because his spikes are longer and just look cooler XD i love this song but isnt it meant to be a bit of a faster tempo?
