Happy Friday, friends!
It feels like forever since my last video! I have been working hard behind the scenes to create quite a few videos to share with you while I will be away for almost three weeks at the end of this month and into September! But, here we are in August. That magical transition month that holds both the end of summer's beauty & the beginning of Autumn's gentle arrival. Today's video is a celebration of just that. I've always felt like we lost some ancient wisdom that could teach us of the liminal spaces between seasons because while I can feel the ending of summer in my bones, we haven't yet crossed that threshold entirely... and I often feel like we miss so much magic in the subtlety and nuance when we jump from one right to the next. I make KZfaq videos in a similar spirit as you and have been traveling across the continent with my two cats for about a year now. It's been amazing to feel the major differences of the seasons in different places - it looks so beautiful where you are! Sending love from my corner of the world to yours 💚💚💚

Just love your choice of music for your videos so I run them at work on my computer so I can listen. Finn (Big white puppers golden and maremma mix) watches at home when we are away . We use to stream Martha Stewart for him but now he watches Randi lol

Oh, Randi, my redheaded sister, your content brings my soul so much joy and peace. I raked leaves with my husband this morning and although it was very hot (we live in the southern US, and at 10:00 am, it was already 97), I so enjoyed that moment of an autumn chore, raking up those crunchy dead leaves to unearth the grass beneath. Despite the unforgiving heat and months without rain, I have tried to keep my spirit joyful by allowing time for cozy activities such as reading and sipping a cup of cinnamon tea. Thank you so much for sharing pieces of your life with us.

What a wonderful video Randi. I finally got to watch it today. Love it! You got amazing footage of the meteor shower and thank you for the recipe link for the garden focaccia bread. I definately want to make it. Your linen dress is beautiful on you and I loved all the nature footage from the wildlife refuge and family cabin. You always seem to see the sweet dear at the refuge and I have yet to see them in that area. I hope to on my next visit. I always see the rabbits and all the wonderful delightful birds.
