I recently ran into one of Republic's commercial rear loaders, and was able to shoot this video. This process is not seen all that often any more, and was definitely cool to watch. It's actually weird- the two places that you see this practice the most are up in the city where a rear loader can get into the alleys and down into the docks easier than a front loader and then it is also used at the other end of the spectrum- out in the middle of nowhere where they back down the long driveways. Anyway, a big thanks goes out to cool the driver for making this possible!
