This week the SCB team experiments with their 3d printer, the boys invent summer sledding and visit a duck pond. J builds Lego with Beth. and Luke, and of course we open some Pokemon cards!

I love how similar the Lego building montages are...j building away and Luke/Beth helping a bit but also mainly snacking/doing other stuff too. So cute

Luke's commentary is the funniest part of these unboxing segments. I love his imagination so much, but there was something really funny about what J said.

I love how Luke's criteria for what constitutes a cool Pokémon card is so different from Dad's!! 😁 Also the sheer delight on the twins' faces when they see something new or exciting is adorable! We should all enjoy things so much!

FYI, the duck with the funny head is a Wood Duck. They are my favorite! They whistle instead of quacking and their plumage is gorgeous… and funny!

Love how the boys are still holding onto those Lightning McQueen cars. I just hope there are some more in reserve in case they were to fall in the lake or get left somewhere by accident. And also, ducks go in cups and lions drive cars (makes sense).

My 2year old kept saying “geekah” (what he calls lightening McQueen) and I was confused until he pointed at the screen. I didn’t even see them 😊

When my son was around 5, he did not want my help putting these huge Lego sets sets together. He put those together so darn fast and could follow the directions (pictures of course)perfectly. I felt so old...

Lol I understand your frustration with the rabbits! I have a garden and the one thing that keeps the rabbits away for me is when I plant marigolds around my garden!

If they have no leaves at all left they will need replanting. Google says that sunflowers will not grow without leaves for photosynthesis. Also they would need replanting every year anyway as they are annual plants

Hydrangeas absorb most of their water from the leaves and flowers. If you are only watering the dirt that may be an issu.☺️

Sometimes the age rating on LEGO isn’t so much based on the difficulty but the playability that there sets that are made for display will have a higher age rating than ones that are made to be played with

Ikr, their parents are adorable after all, what do you expect? Luke is quite interactive for a four year old to be honest and the twins love to roughhouse. But they're all the more lovable because of it.

The 18+ rating on a lego set is more to show that it's more of a collector's item/display model instead of a playset. It hasn't got as much to do with difficulty or being inappropriate to kids
