In this video, I fly as late as legally possible on the longest day of the year. My good mate Giles Fowler and I fly to a stone age tree circle where it is rumoured Druids congregate on the Solstice. Another spectacular sunset and moonlit landing!

I liked the idea of being able to study for the exams whenever I had a spare 10-15 minutes and the QuizAero courses are a fraction of the price of ground school and the textbooks (which are out of date as soon as they are published). Being able to learn in your own time and at your own pace sold it to me. 👍

Paul, you're inspirational. The training course looks cheaper than buying the books. Summer solstice - I remember reading somewhere about an astronomer in Glasgow (?) Looking through a large telescope waiting for a particular star to get directly over head. I could be way off but that's all I remember.

@paulieb796 While I'm inspiring others, you are inspiring me. Did my first one mile walk yesterday. It was gard work, a slog all the way, plenty of rest stops, but I did it. You keep on showing me how wonderful flying is. Cheers.
