Today I wanted to share a very late look into my Summer Solstice and Litha celebrations. So far, this year has been wet, cold and it's not been easy to connect with the Sabbats, especially when they revolve around sunshine.
This video I'm covering some of the ways I'm celebrating, a community tarot reading and altars to help me reconnect with the seasonal energy.

Same for us in New Jersey too the temps are in the high 80s low 90s I start sweating 5 mins after stepping out lmao. The heat has come a lot sooner than other years

Come up to Alaska! The highest temp we hit so far was around 70. Being warm is one of the main things I miss about living in Texas 😭

I'm a new witch. This will be my first Litha. I have limited supplies so I will be doing the following to celebrate: I'm getting up a bit before sunrise. I will do a guided Litha morning meditation. During the day I am going to paint a sunflower field in acrylics and color a summer solstice coloring page. I'm also going to charge some water in the sun all day., At sunset i plan on doing a guided Litha evening meditation. I'm not sure what all to do as this is my first one, but I think I've got a good start.

Where I live we are having the opposite situation: it got way too hot early in June- 95 to 100°. Definitely feels off, like, too much, too soon.

Litha is the first sabbath I've ever celebrated, and I started a year ago, so this is extra exciting for me! I'm not the biggest fan of the summer but luckily it is very sunny and hot in my country so I do get the full litha experience 😅☀️💛🌻

I live in the Upstate of South Carolina United States, it is hot, sunny, and dry. I’m cooking Hobbit inspired twice baked honey cakes, charging solar water and money jars, wearing yellow,leaving a special offering to my house brownie, and will be tuning into the Stonehenge live stream. Not sure if I’ll get outside much today but I am working on an art project next to a sunny window 😊.

It is so hot here in Illinois! And it’s just not raining. 🌧️ So I’ve been watering my garden everyday. I’ve worked on my fire pit to spruce it up and hopefully I’ll put it to good use on Litha!

Litha always feels like Litha here in the Sonoran desert…it will be 114 degrees tomorrow here in Phoenix so it will be very hot but I am happy to begin the countdown to Yule!!! Sending love your way as always, Hearth. ❤

Im a new witch. I have only just set up my first altar. I have unknowingly got an altar cloth in green and gold so that ties in with Litha. I have set a vase of summer wildflowers and honeysuckle on it to celebrate Litha. I have just watched via KZfaq the sunset from Stonehenge, it was magical. I intend to watch the sunrise at Stonehenge in the morning via KZfaq too

Here in Canada, it has been unseasonably hot for June. Still managed to eat at a park near my work each lunch break all week despite the heatwave warnings though. After such long winters I try to enjoy all the sunshine I can.

i partially blame the sabbets not feeling right on climate change. we didn’t have a flake of snow during the winter solstice or even christmas and i live in one of the snowiest areas in our country. we had a giant snow storm this year, but it was still one of the warmest winters i’ve ever experienced, and i know as the years go by it’s gonna get warmer and warmer. it was almost 100 degrees the other day and ppl keep saying it’s the hottest summer of our lives, but it will most likely be the coolest summer from now on and that’s terrifying.

I'm diggin' it here in Maryland, USA. Not too hot, stuff is growing again. And the wildlife is out and about. I am just starting to learn about the different celebratory times of the year, so no big plans specific to Litha. But I do keep a connection to the changing nature. But hey, "Happy Litha everyone!"

It's actually very, very hot and sunny here in the US Midatlantic region. So much so that Litha feels a bit late even, it's felt like Summer for at least a month! I'm planning to watch the Stonehenge live streams, wake up at sunrise tomorrow, do all of my Sabbat related cooking and baking- cauliflower cheddar soup, sage cornbread, chamomile honey cake, lavender shortbread cookies, sunflower seed balls- tomorrow evening. I can't wait! I've also been aging a bottle of wildflower mead for a year or so I plan to uncorked for a small libation. Then Saturday I plan to go on a wee picnic and go to a local Solstice market downtown. It's a busy and full weekend and it's going to be oppressively hot, I think temps are going to break 100 Fahrenheit. If I could split the difference and send you some sun I would!

I am here in NC, USA, so it is definitely Litha Season here. But yes, the energy is all over the place. I am making solar water, charging some favorite herbs and crystals. I will be sharing the water with my daughter. She is a fairly new mama herself and I doubt she was able to get it together today. May the season actually find you in the UK. I live in Tennessee in the States and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day for Litha, so I spent some time on my porch swing basking in the sun and eating some seasonal fruits!!

I’m in Southern California and it is sunny and hot which is on trend for the season for us. I’m not a big fan of Summer so I’m gonna spend time in my garden and have a BBQ for Litha and maybe a bonfire depending on if it’s windy or not.

I’m not a pagan practitioner, but I do like celebrating the summer solstice with a little magic. I plan to walk in the sun wearing a yellow dress and then take a ritual shower so I can settle in with some green meditating tea and then do a ritual for the moon, since it’s also a full moon here today. I don’t have a lot of physical or mental energy today, so it makes sense to do some low-key healing magic by letting the sun rejuvenate me and then call down some moon energy to relax me and send me into a peaceful night’s sleep.

I live in Arizona, USA. It's been between 101 to 108 degrees fahrenheit (38 to 42 degrees Celsius) for the the past few weeks or more. An abundance of sunshine🌞, too much heat 🥵. The forecast at sunrise is 80 degrees fahrenheit, 26.66 degrees Celsius. It's so hot, I'm not very motivated to do much of anything. If I tried to charge sun water it would evaporate. Will mark where the sun goes down on the mountains, which I can see outside my bedroom window, to track the sun's progress back south as the year wanes. Might change my altar and light a beeswax candle. Probably not. More likely, this year, I'll focus on the full moon and view the constellation of Scorpio which is sitting outside my south facing window, balancing on it's tail on a nearby hill. Hearth, I will trade you some sunshine and warmer weather for some rain and cooler temperatures. Blessings for Litha and the Summer Solstice.

Interestingly enough, I'm in the southern hemisphere and we're supposed to celebrate Yule today (winter solstice), but it's so sunny and bright where I live, that it feels a lot more like Litha 😅 I'm feeling so drawn to solar energy, it makes total sense to celebrate Litha rn

Here in Illinois it's hot & humid, everything is in full bloom. I've been feeling particularly lazy regarding sabbats & esbats for quite some time. I managed to do a short and sweet 5 minute ritual in my backyard before the vampire mosquitos came out. Spending the rest of the evening watching litha & solstice videos😊

In Wales we've had sunny weather lately, so my coven had our Litha celebration on the foundation stones of a local witch's cottage in the woodlands of our country park. Her sons lived locally too and were well known local witches. We really enjoyed it. 😃

I really appreciated the tone of this video! My own celebrations this year have been so off, and it's been throwing me for a loop. This Litha I had all these ideas in mind, then plans shifted and I was unable to dedicate much time at all to prepping, then suddenly it was the morning of Litha and I was exhausted and not feeling up to any sort of energy workings. I'm still learning a lot about the practice, so I actually didn't know until you said it here that sabbats can be a season rather than a specific single day! I feel a lot of pressure to celebrate at just the right time, so it's very nice to hear that there is a bit more of an energetic window to work with. Thanks again for this video!

You can have some of my heat, it is currently 35°C in my part of the woods. It DEFINITELY feels like Litha, but too hot for spending lengthy amounts of time outside. Instead of watching the sunrise, I'll watch the sunset and enjoy cooler temps while savoring the last few moments of the longest day in my part of the world 9:12pm. 15 hours and 17 minutes.

We are in the opposite situation here in New England. We are in a 4 day heatwave with temps around 100F in the shade. The last thing I want to see right now is the sun pounding down on our home, heating it up! I'll be cheering on the Holly King!! But the altar is done, I was able to have a gorgeous weekend, last week, harvest some of my herbs and hang them for drying, and will celebrate the long day with reading and some divination and perhaps a fae themed movie! So sad to hear about the incident at Stonehenge. Will they be able to get that horrible paint off?

I'm in Northern Wisconsin USA and the weather has been so crazy. You're right, it hasn't felt normal, last night we had such a bad rain storm, there were floods all over our state and, the neighboring States as well. This caused so many of the roads and highways to be washed out. I'm just planning on changing out my altar tonight, then I'm going to sit at my altar and do some tarot and just some reading. If the weather cooperates, I'm going to be picking some wildflowers along the roadside. 🏵️🌺🌹💮🪻

Mostly resting today! It’s super hot out so I spread my celebration over June 20,21,and 23 with the full moon too. For this actual day I’m resting and reading the Song of Achilles, play some playlists dedicated to Apollo and do some swimming tomorrow after work and burn some ancestral offerings and do some release letters and do some protection wards and cleanse my space.

Hearing you describe your current weather situation in summer sounds like my current weather situation here in Mid Nort South Australia; it boggles the mind that English summer weather is drabber than winter Aus weather (at least in my part of SA - we do get the seasons distinctly although summer heat lasts a lot longer than I would like).

I've seen some amazing sunrises over the sea at Lowestoft where I live, it being the most easterly town in the UK we get the first sunrise and belive me it is a very magical experience :).

I have definitely felt Litha, also it is a full moon! AND my birthday, a lot of energy in this event, but i have also been over working myself the past 2 weeks, and have felt isolated, I am hoping some rituals and bringing myself back with intention will energize me (also its been 85 degrees where I am for the past week, so I think we stole the sun from ya, haha) what herbs and other essential oils would u recommend for the tealight candles?

It's miserably hot in the central eastern US compared to a normal mid June. I hope to go see the sunrise at Ft Ancient, a somewhat newly recognized world heritage site that has prehistoric earthworks to mark the summer and winter solstices

I have been trying to get more into the Sabbats, but each one seems to sneak up on me before I am able to plan/prepare anything. I have just been coming back to my craft in the last year or two and it always feels like I am just not quite "there" to say I am fully back in my practice if I keep missing the holidays. This year has just felt off in more ways than one though.

It’s rained sooo much here too! Wow that’s really weird. I’m in the Midwest of USA Minneapolis. Today is going to be 85F I’m taking off working and going to the beach 🏖️ and swim in the lake. The drum 🪘 circle I went to was amazing, went to friends swam in pool and did hot sauna and cold and sauna again. Then walked nature in the RAIN 🌧️ 3 of us! Then it stopped for #tobaccoBlessing

I have the same problem as you, just in reverse. I live in a desert where summer means scorching, dry heat and no one wants to be outside. So the summer solstice as this celebration of life and fertility when my surroundings are like a preheating oven and the longer the sun stays out the more dangerous going outside is, feels… incongruent lol. Still trying to decide if I want to celebrate the summer solstice at all

I’m with you. I live in Seattle and our weather is much like yours sooooo. It has been hard to connect to the sabbats when the weather does not lol. This year looks like we might match up for Litha for once. Great video. My parents are from Bath/Bristol and moved here because of the weather lol. Why?

Something I am planning on doing this Litha, I will be using a Blend for recharging the energy of our home. I've notice it feels stagnate. It also the fact we are due to renew our Lease of this house at the end of the summer. I am also be recharging my altar as well. I've never really been a Litha/Summer Solstice Person. I do acknowledge the Season. Here in VA it has been a pretty good weather from rain to 70's and 80's with some Mugginess,, but during Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be 90's and super Muggy. True summer right there!!!

It's near 104 degrees here and incredibly hot. They have a heat advisory where I am from but I try to at least go outside for a few minutes.

Same weather where I'm at in MN. This is the only day this week that it isn't rainy. I took off work so I could be outside and feel the sun for the solstice, but now I feel there's no point

I'm planning on making an oil for work. Since I'm a casino dealer of sorts i wanna make an oil that i can wear that will provide prosperity for my players as i deal cards, and in turn will bring prosperity back to me. A Money Cycle Oil kinda. I'm also planning on sitting by the fire pit and taking a shot of whiskey to say goodbye to Brigid for the year, and welcome Lady Hel. I switch between them depending on what half of the year it is. Brigid for the light half, and Hel for the dark half. It's not much of a choice, just feeling a shift like they're needing to move on and make room for the other til it's their time to come back again. I might do other things when I'm off of work, but for now these are my two things i have planned. That and going to the park and spending time with the river spirit that I've known most of my life

Blessings to you, well I will trade rain with you, I am having a serious tropical heat wave here in Pepperell, MA 90's to the 100's hot hazy humid yuck. FYI Pepperell is witch town, good long story.

Climate change is real and this year is particularly wild. In terms of weather and temperatures, Spring started a month early and so did summer. We've been stuck in an unnatural heatwave that is record breaking since like mid-may. Normally we wouldn't have "summer" heat before like, well, the solstice. Summer really does start around this time of the year, not a month ago! I found myself thinking about the celts calling Beltane the beginning of summer this year, wondering if this might as well be the case here this year. (I live in North America)

I guess I'm celebrating Litha end of the month-ish. I've been trying to tie my garden to the wheel of the year this year, and the spring garden is not ready to come out, and the fall garden is not ready to go in, so I'm just hoping for good growth in the next couple of weeks.

Here in New York City it definitely has the Litha vibe, but I'm going to a handfasting for my friend tomorrow. That said, the vibes have been _real_ weird all year. I wonder if it isn’t to do with the chaotic astrological situation?
