Take the sustainable fashion challenge with me and thrift your summer wardrobe. I’d love to know what you spend. I’m coping my capsule list below and here is a link if you want it in spread sheet format. I use it to make sure I have the foundations and then shop the fun and stylish things I think I’ll wear for years to come to go with it. Let me know if it’s helpful.

Capsule check list:
White, black & tan of T-shirts, nicer tops, camies and sleeveless
Black, white, brown and khaki of casual shorts and of formal shorts
Bras strapless comfy, strapless support, sport, decorative and flesh tone
Over layer (shirt, sweatshirt, sweater, or wind breaker) white, black, tan

You have good taste! Everything is cute, now that you have a different weight, get fitted for a couple of new bras. They will make all the difference for your new look.

So true! I think everyone is a little disappointed the velvet dress didn’t show up in the home pile but I was seriously over budget.

@5:00 White VINEGAR instead of the fabric softener when you wash your clothes from the thrift, it works for me😊

Second the vinegar. Really stubborn odors can be removed by soaking in vinegar overnight.

I live in the Denver area. I used to go thrifting all the time, but the ones i used to go to are kinda cruddy now. Can you suggest good thrift stores by responding to this comment? Thanks!

I still love the bins but I think the city thrift stores feel kinds of dicey. Maybe hit the suburbs. Arc is a big chain but they have been good to me. The Goodwill in Boulder has great stuff but no dressing rooms so if you wear biker shorts and a sports bra for try ins you can get some things that aren’t as picked over. I’ve never been but friends say that Sister…something… Theresa? In Lafayette is the best. Super low prices. Probably any wealthy suburb is a good bet. Let me know what you find.
