Thank you for the video. Just starting a small backyard vineyard for personal consumption and was wondering what pruning controls were needed. I am growing pino griggio grapes and hope the methodology is the same. (Still researching) This sounds like a good place to start.

Hi joji, six or seven feet (2m) between rows and five feet between plants is OK. Pruning is the same for all varieties.

aloha from oahu hawaii 96782, as i watch and learn about growing grapes, taking the top 3 person involved in this topic i see you not doing an important thing for a better tasting grape, i will tell you that i see your not pruning back any leaves covering those bunches of grapes, why did you not pruning back those leaves for a better tasting grape, here's one, wen you buy a nice red sweet apple where did you think it came from not from all those leaves covering it, the top of the tree where the sun is shining on those apple will be the best tasting of the crop not the hidden ones, just saying smile, PS I go to college every day its call ( you tube university ) and the best part its free smile I'm 68 aloha
