Todays video is all about the finer points of slip bobber walleye fishing. Slip bobbers are an incredibly affective way to catch walleyes all June long. This video is all about how I find fish and catch them using this technique. I also talk about a lot of the rigging tips and tricks when it comes to walleye fishing with slip bobbers. This will be the last slip bobber video I probably post for awhile so hopefully many of your questions will be answered. As we transition into the summer period how to find and catch these fish will change. Thanks for watching!

Excellent content as usual. I fish the Ottawa River with current, very deep areas with shoals, bottom points etc. Makes it challenging and fun. When the wind blows from the east the chop is nuts since the river flows west to east.

Hey Tom! Really getting into a lot of fishing as of late. You’re channel has been one of the better fishing channels to really start emerging for me. Finally learning to understand the side imaging, sonar, and down imaging from one of your latest videos made understanding a lot of you’re other content a lot easier. I genuinely enjoy your style, refreshing to get away from the overly country style community and see that more millennial/younger people can fish too. I’m excited to see more of the other types of fishing that you are into and have great advice for. I even would not mind a video that tells us more about you and your life. Also I often wonder what kinds of gear you have and like. Rods, reels, line preference, brands, all that kind of stuff. It’s great insight that I’m sure a lot of people might wonder about, I personally know I would. Your boat looks awesome btw! Thanks for the content, I’ll be tuned in for the foreseeable future.

Hi Tom, love the videos bud! Do you run the G3 humminbird? My G2N si never picks up schools of fish like yours does, even when I'm slamming good size walleyes. I usually pull blades in my hotspots until I land a decent one or two then jig or swimbait for a bit until its fished out and move on. I only seem to have the odd shadow that ever shows up even when the "traditional" sonar screen on my g2 shows shools when I'm right ontop of them. I'm just wondering if I need to upgrade to g3 for better picture or not?

@@patrickethier6190 If you just got the unit and have only used it a couple times (not used to it yet) it could just simply be that the the right side is scanning very deep water and the left shallow water. Deeper water will show shadow/dark particularly if quick drop off in area.
