In this video I show how I made a batch of sweet pickle relish, whip up a quick supper and make sourdough blueberry bagels.
Sweet pickle relish
•8 cucumbers
•1 cup red bell pepper
•1 cup green bell pepper
•1/4 cup salt
•2 cups AC vinegar
•1 tbs celery seed
•1 tbs mustard seed
•3 1/2 cups sugar
Finely Chop cucumbers and peppers in food processor. Mix together with salt and cover with water. Let soak for 2 hours.
Strain mixture and add to a large boiler along with the ac vinegar, celery seed, mustard seed, and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Ladle into prepared jars. Water bath can per your location regulations.
