People should be aware that Summit tractors are made in India. If you want a foreign-built tractor available at a discount, I'd consider a Kioti. The S. Koreans make really good equipment and Kioti tractors are built like tanks.

My family just moved onto a 14 acre property with a large section of woods. Summit tractors have been appearing at our local Runnings store recently, so I compared them to the the Deeres and Kubotas I was contemplating. Decided to support a US/vet-owned company and pulled the trigger last week. Looking forward to the landscaping projects in the coming year...

Since first learning about the Summit TX25 on GWT I’ve been sold and very excited. Being a retired backhoe, excavator and a lot more equipment operator, working through the IUOE Local 12 I’ve been waiting to see your backhoe attachment. Hoping that there was a way that the beautiful, comfortable operators seat you’ve used would lift up and turn around to operate the backhoe. Somewhat like the JD 710 I’d run for Granite Construction and other companies and not the stool seat used on most compact tractors. Sitting on an uncomfortable seat so far from the steering wheel makes it impossible to reach the steering wheel. Making, keeping the tractor inline with the ditch while pushing it forward to continue digging difficult. Your at the mercy of whichever way the wheels want to go. Production will diminish having to change seats very often wear out this old broken down body. You’ve definitely produced the finest compact tractor on the market and I suppose I shouldn’t expect it to compare at all to the industrial equipment I ran for so many years. As far as I know the only small tractor that does have a seat that turns around is the little subcompact BX Kubota. I sure did want yours instead. Really wish Summit would set up a dealer in NorCal. We buy a LOT of farm & Ranch equipment in NorCal, and there are many farmers and ranchers that are done with Kobota and JD. I would think Summit would do very well here.

I'm waiting for them to make a bigger tractor. I'd be very interested in a larger version.

Wow. With all the standard features on this little guy, I'm fairly interested in having this as a 2nd tractor for all of the smaller jobs I do, like all of my wife's garden and landscaping projects and small storm clean up. It doesn't make sense to fire up the JD for the constant smaller chores around my farm. I think I will check one of these out. Thanks.

Good detailed presentation. Lots of details and quality features. The ONLY thing i was disappointed in when I looked at it at one of the dealers near me was that the cockpit area was cramped too muck for us bigger guys. Not enough foot and leg room to move quickly if there is a need to. Just too cramped. Needs to be 1/2 to 1.0 foot longer in the control area....Michigan

Maybe by the time I buy Summit will make a forty to forty five HP tractor. Right now my purchase would be a Branson 4820.

Couple of suggestions, As much as this tractor weighs, should be able to lift more weight. Should have a shutoff on the fuel valve on engine and where all the hydraulic hoses attach on side of engine looks like a mess. Other wise a nice copy if the Solid tractor with a few more amenities.

Does the bucket have a float feature? Yes it does we purchased it and the backhoe we love it.

I've been following the Summit TX25 since GWT has been using one over the past year. I stopped by Home Depot a week ago and got to see one up close. Having all the hydraulics available both front and back is a major plus! Is there a cover plate to cover the hose junction area, seems like a possible damage exposure? My personal needs are for a loader (forks) that can handle a IBC tote full of split firewood, which is a little beyond what the LX85 can handle. I have heard that Summit is coming out with a larger model (37hp) in the future? If so, looking forward to it. I also noted the video from McClure Made Outdoors for the 50hr maintenance interval, and since you mentioned you are planning on future videos, perhaps making one showing the step-by-step procedures? A video is worth 10,000 words! Good job, glad to see a sub-compact tractor that implements all the 'optional' accessories as standard features. I would think you will sell a ton of them.

That looks like a tilt capable steering wheel. Did you all just forget to put in the control to adjust it? :)

How do I get the seat lower I have a really hard time reaching the key with short arms. And if I lean too far to reach the key it shuts down. Looking for information
