Wow, I needed to see this. I just came back to making videos after a 4 year hiatus. I've been studying what gets views, and a lot of the content ideas I had were not something I wanted to do. I made 2 videos I knew I'd enjoy filming and editing, and while I'm not getting views yet, I am proud of the result. Bart Enderhoff The main thing to remember: Don’t end your life. Things will always get better. Wake up reasonably early every morning and go on a run whilst appreciating the beauty around you. Talk with friends as much as you can, letting them know how you feel. And there’s many people out there that want to hire you, you just have to find them. Go visit your family or parents and talk with them too.

This is inspiring. I've been getting into some new stuff recently and the viewership drop off is very noticeable. But I think taking the hit to the ego and the revenue, as you put it, is well worth the enjoyable experience when the alternative is running into the burnout and taking a far too long break that ends up being worse in the end.

Great video dude, I've always had big respect for summit, he feels so honest and genuine about his stream. The great thing about modern twitch and KZfaq is that there's a huge audience for almost everything you can think of, just ignore whats popular and do whatever you like, there's probably an audience for it if you do it well.

Thank you for this. A lot of content creators and streamers tend to go towards games that are more popular like Fortnite, and it can get boring. This reminded me that I can do what I want to play to be happy and not play a game just because of its popularity. A video is good, when the clips make sense? Isn't that the standard? Besides, the length of a video doesn't matter, the only thing you have to watch for is if a video above ten minutes has a lot of ads, since you can decide over the number of ads as soon as the video has reached a length of ten minutes.
