- For washing/shrinkage, I washed mine and hung dry it. The sleeves shrunk MAYBE a half an inch. My buddy got a gi from Summo Sports also has also shrunk about a half an inch after a light tumble dry. So I would say get your normal size and don’t size up. Shrinkage is minimal!
