Thank you all who have replied to me and are praying for my son Chris who has stage 4 cancer in his abdomen. I am praying in and with a small group of my friends and family as well. He is in a lot of pain and will be going for a another fluid draining tomorrow and hopefully he is well enough to go through a colonoscopy after the draining. Thank goodness I turned back to this Mass from earlier today, and I see that at least 10 seconds was taken to pray for the former President and indeed for our country . During the Noontime Mass this was explicitly not done, not one single word about the atrocities from yesterday and I was ready to renounce this particular Catholic Church completely. However the Holy Spirit guided me to search and to listen to an older homily before the noon time one which was a disgrace.
