Both parties will raise taxes. Tax burden is highest. Public will have to pay. There’s no money. YES THERE IS. TAX those who have milked all of our services/banks/water/gas/ etc etc a higher rate.

at least labour spend tax making things better, not spunking it on their donors like the tories do. it wasnt labour who sold everything off was it? it was the tories.

@kanedNunable Are you serious? The last time Labour was kicked out of office, there was no money left in the pot, and the country was in recession! Brown sold our gold reserves at rock bottom prices. You're either too young or too stupid to remember.

As a 76 year old pensioner, I disagree that pensioners will have special tax terms. It is extremely divisive. There is already a large division between pensioners and the rest of the country.

I wouldn't vote for Sunak or the Conservatives but I don't blame him being angry. He's being bombarded with scandal after scandal after scandal. From Johnson to the issues of potential illegal gambling to bad policies dreamt up by his fellow Conservative leaders before him, he's sinking. Add on his own gaffs and it's an all-out fail. For a man who is obviously successful, educated and perfectly capable in every other thing he's done in his life, he's bound to be angry: at himself and all the others around him. Starmer is nothing but a wet blanket.

Sunak says their disgusting policy of fiscal drag (not updating the tax band thresholds), which will now be mitigated by a new TWA slogan policy to protect pensioners will be implemented. Unfortunately the dire Starmer fiscal drag policy is the same. I despair 😢

with respect, taxes are high enough already. We need economic growth, low interest, low tax, low inflation and low price to allow the public to have the confident to invest and spent. Economic strength will strengthen CONFIDENT and + £ value, hence cheaper import and more in the peoples pocket and public cofers
@richybatty234
@richybatty234 2 күн бұрын
And the fact that taxes are high enough already is WHOS fault exactly ? They have taxed to the hilt , ordinary people but have put next to nothing back to help the country's infrastructure . Paying tax SHOULD be a good thing . But only as long as people see it doing some good and helping them make their lives better . Labour will do this . The Tories have given us the highest tax burden in 70 YRS . Time for change . Soon have these corrupt liars out .... Can't wait
