The Gen 2 must be good. Really impressed with the performance of the gen 1 for something so small. Anything electrical that works OK in - 44 celcius is doing well. My phone battery dies as soon as I take it out of my pocket.

I break cheap ones very quickly in general. This one is also very cheap I believe (although I didn't pay for it 😂) but it's been doing great. Also you really can't go wrong with a petzle, only 30 euros for the cheaper ones. I also have a good one from a petrol station hat was about 40. Not lasted like the one in the video as it's now held together with gaffer tape but still doing good. One of the nice things about the sunblesa is that it is so compact and fits nicely in your pocket. Very different to the bulky things we were all using 20 years ago before Led technology took off.

Certainly anywhere away from civilization and batteries are the way to go.many head torches have a rechargeable battery that can be changed for normal ones. This also works well. I get through a lot of batteries in the winter,it's quite expensive 🤣. Thanks for watching mate.

I think it really helps if you understand how the algorithm works. I don't and I don't really care. There are a lot of advantages to being a smaller channel. For example I can answer comments (I do miss some and ignore the weird ones😂) and have more time for the individual viewere. There are also people who do this for years and never reach 1k subs. Batteries can get a bit expensive though. There are advantages to both. Certainly if I am away from home rechargeable is just not a good option. I did spend all of last winter using this as just a backup in the belief that the charge wouldn't last a day. It does, even in -40 and we work very long hours in the dark. Still gives a bit more security having a spare set of batteries in your pocket though. Thanks for stopping by Dan.
