@Sunburned Albino, I don't know if this has been answered already, but the reason why Tarzan's world of Deep Jungle could not be used in later games is that Disney was not able to secure rights to continue using Tarzan's likeness from the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Burroughs is the man who created Tarzan in his novels and he owned all rights to him. His estate and descendants refused to let Disney have the rights (I think there was some sort of issue between them). It's a shame, because I mostly enjoyed Deep Jungle (great farming place for Wizards and White Mushrooms) and the Jungle Slider was somewhat difficult but visually stunning for the PS2.

Boss tier list when?

The easy S tier worlds for me are Hollow Bastion (KH1), The World That Never Was (KH2), and Corona (KH3).

54:44 - Laughed for a good minute and am now genuinely behind the idea of all the data fights and/or secret bosses of KH3 ReMind taking place inside a Wendy’s Bathroom.

Really agreeable list, felt the same way about almost all of the worlds

S-TIER: - Halloween Town KH1 - I love the costume, I like how cool Jack is in this one, I actually feel like I can get lost in this world, visually the best world in the game, 'this is halloween' theme on repeat forever, I will never not finish this world once I start it - Hollow Bastion KH1 - I have fun rushing through the puzzles, getting knocked back to the bottom makes things tense, mobs require focus, posessed Riku is my favorite boss in the series - End of the World KH1 - I'm some kind of masochist, because I love progressing through the relentless onslaught of lock room mob fights - Space Paranoids KH2 - I love the look of this world, the mobs and challenges are all fun, the music bops, Sora looks way cool, Tron is a lad and his friendship with Sora is on par with Riku's, I'll fight you they are as brothers - Radiant Garden KH2 - Sephiroth, Cloud and Squall back to back, battle of 1000 heartless, and all the other revelations and epic moments of confrontation, Maleficent's return, the whole Restoration Committee, this world can't be topped - Olympus KH3 - expansive, verticality, great mobs, those scripted backdrop animations, the bosses, details, overall visuals and sound - Toy Box - I had a blast with the mechs, and fighting enemy mechs without one is a blast, not to mention Woody is a verbal savage, and there's a ball pitt in which a mob will spawn, this level is childhood in a bottle - The Caribbean KH3 - BOAT, biggest of all time, also you have such a pretty boat- ship - Kingdom of Corona KH3 - this world is a journey, sliding down slopes, wrecking lock room mobs and minibosses, the interactivity that captures the fresh beauty of nature, AND DUDE Rapunzel is better than Kairi and Sora has more chemistry with her than Flynn dammit A-TIER: - Destiny Islands KH1 - perfect tutorial world, fight everyone a bunch, collect shit, go home, fight everyone at once, hang with the crew - Traverse Town KH1 - this town encapsulates the call to adventure, exciting and unfamiliar but cozy and inviting, Aerith lives, Yuffie is hanging out with Squall and they have more chemistry as a duo than he had with that hoe from his own game, searching the town as Goof and Don search for you, I love the basic default mobs, the boss is one of my favorites, I'd put it in S-tier but being objective it's just right but not above and beyond, I adore it tho - Atlantica KH1 - underrated, the controls never bothered me, I can plow through this world, fun mob fights with strategic verticality, intermitent bosses, best Disney story integration in KH1, what can I say, I love this one, fuck that stigma dude - Twilight Town KH2 - in just a couple of hours feels like home, story events are great, and lots of fun aside things, struggle! - Beast's Castle KH2 - great mobs, great boss fights, best Disney story integration in KH2, Belle, place is a mood, castles man - Monstropolis KH3 - I love the continuation of the movie premise, the scream energy storyline is the best thing KH has done to absorb Disney movie lore into its own lore, plenty of horrific but memorable mob fights, looks just like the movie, like the Tangled world it takes the movie stuff I like without the stuff I don't, he was the ball B-TIER: - Olympus Coliseum KH1 - it's a coutyard and a room, but the tournaments and story events here are solid fun, Phil is great - Wonderland KH1 - just fun and weird, challenging puzzle design of the world, it's decent - Agrabah KH1 - some of the back and forth is exhausting, but the puzzles here are satisfying, and the mobs are a challenge - Neverland KH1 - I just like pirates, pirate monkeys mobs go hard, didn't care about the lame maze, dat Riku intrigue - Underworld KH2 - some of the maze stuff sucks and looks samey etc, but it has fun story events and a cool atmosphere - The World That Never Was KH2 - visually incredible, real flashy, it's cool to climb to the top of the castle, but doesn't feel particularly satisfying to wade through rooms of enemies, mobs are slightly tedious in mixture - Keyblade Graveyard KH3 - a few halls and a couple puzzles, and rooms with boss fights, less imagination than EOTW from KH1, but same basic premise of room after room of end game challenges leading up to the final boss, this whole story section is sick - Arendelle KH3 - honestly not that bad, I thought the mobs were fun, liked the mini-game sledding, traversal was fun, the world was stunningly beautiful, and I hate Frozen so I'm fine with scrimp on the story side, Hanz was a bullshit character anyway, honestly I'd give it A-tier if it weren't for that little snow bastard, and I don't judge by representation or even necessarily story, as the story here was basically: Sora: hey u sad? Elsa: yeh Sora: can i help? Elsa: naw fuck off bruh Sora: Aight imma head out then Larxene: yeah Sora, fuck off boi Sora: hey stfu i'm makin friends bitch Hanz: fuck the plot, i got me a ginger girl Elsa: shit that's my sister Sora: shit Marshmallow: shit Sora: shit? Marshmallow: shiiiiiit Sora: shiiiiiit Hanz: darkness! Sora: shit C-TIER: let's get this over with - Deep Jungle KH1 - I appreciate the intricacy of this level, and I can smash this level in minutes, but it's more a 'let's get it over with' thing - Land of Dragons KH2 - despite more delicious Riku intrigue, this level is big and empty and bastardizes a movie I deeply love - Disney Castle KH2 - while a part of the KH2 novelty charm, this world is boring in both mobs and area design - Halloween Town KH2 - X-mas section is amusing, but aside from being a good grind world, this one just has Jack and Sora running around being annoying overzealous dumbasses - Twilight Town KH3 - charming to have NPCs finally and there's lots of detail and personality, but way too short, too small, and a couple of lock room mobs and one of the peskier bosses - San Fransokyo KH3 - just a big sandbox, should have required more exploration to progress imho, force us to appreciate more of it D-TIER: misery - Monstro KH1 - a samey looking maze of frustrating tunnels with a vertical element, this level stinks, despite some cool Riku intrigue - Timeless River KH2 - appreciate the history lesson as I may, this world is bland and the mini-games/challenges are not fun to me - Agrabah KH2 - big, empty, spread out boxes, a tedious exploration bit, and janky flying sections, no thanks - Port Royal KH2 - another empty and ugly maze, more frustrating due to lack of color depth, and the damn moon thing is tedious af - Pride Rock KH2 - big, empty, ugly, and I hate the cat form, it sucks, i'm sorry, it captures jack squat of the movie's excellence F-TIER: kys - Atlantica KH2 - this tier is exclusively reserved for this devil worship

S tier: Kingdom of Corona. That world is absolute perfection. The design, the immersion, the intimacy, and most importantly: the dancing mini game!

Olympus is the first level in KH3.

I like Hollow Bastion mainly becuase its the big world leading up, and the first real important original place, it also basically shows the Final Fantasy aspect of the games

Having only played KH2 but seeing playthroughs of the other games I think I can say my favorite is The World That Never Was

i dont have a problem with arendele, i like winter landscapes, but seeing the town would of been nice as well

Agrabah 2 should be A teir because the cave of wonders was much much larger and the bazzar was larger and felt more real to to the world. The other places and keyblade should be higher. Keyblade should be a ( only reason it not s is the size was so much smaller but the bosses and the cinematics were great) and the other places (more specifically the final world finally explained a lot of things) timelessriver and Disney castle should be combined and what about the gummy ship portion. Those are kinda like worlds all their own

FYI : Monsters University is a prequel to Monsters Inc. that tells you pretty much how Mick and Sulley befriended each other and became the best Team of all the other Monsters Inc. Teams in terms of "Get your kids to scream" who later both became CEO of that company after Monsters Inc. completely removed Screaming in favor of Laughing by the end of the movie.

Hundred Acre Woods is a mixed bag. I like the exploration in KH1 as a distraction from everything else though you don't get a whole lot from it. KH2 the minigames are better but they feel like mini games rather than just another mission to do or like a story. KH3 I probably don't remember too well, I only remember a few garden mini games so all I can assume is it's a lot smaller and repetitive and then like a quick rap up of any story there was. Overall I can say they're optional for anyone who wants to try them, KH1 feels like it's own world while 2 is just a distraction and 3 just gets it over with. And I remember in the first two games I didn't even really care to find all pages sometimes.

The Caribbean was so good, that even after three and a half FromSoft games (Including Elden Ring and Bloodborne), it’s still my top area in any video game

I appreciate a tier list for KH worlds but I think their needs to be a clear criteria for what is being rated as being able to do ( end game content, exploration or just secret missions). like its not enough to just say a world looks beautiful because to be honest all worlds look amazing in all game its one of KH specialties. not sure colosseums should be their own worlds considering that Olympus and underworld are pretty the same world just ones on top there other on bottom.

Regarding Roxas in KH2 I was disappointed we didn't get to play as him more in the game

Destiny Island is a good tutorial island. It takes a while to get off but it's just 2 days of collecting and story intro. I remember spending a lot of time fighting Riku just for fun til I was ready to go on. It's great at showing where the characters are before they're scattered and the real story starts. Though I think they retconned being stuck on this small island for just being out of sight of their real home. Traverse Town is kinda meant to be a hub world but I never really went there. I don't think many people even saw the Pinocchio scene. Decent first adventure and stuff to do but I'd put it at a B. Now if I may, I really dislike the 7 days of KHII tutorial. It goes on for far too long and apparently I was supposed to play the card game before to be even more confused what's going on? It's a fine Traverse Town with stuff to do but after the tutorial you're pretty much done with it. C+, Hollow Bastion II is better and I'm happy we come back to it a few times.

I think when ranking the worlds the bosses would have been good to think about as they are the final “taste” of the world. For example, Halloween Town KH1 is my favorite world but the final Oogie boss brings it down a bit.

For me personally I would put Arendelle in C tier, maybe B tier if I'm being generous because I have a huge soft spot for Frozen. I really enjoyed the world despite there not being much to look at and it also has one of my favorite bosses in the game.

KH1 End of the World: Feels very rushed but it's basically the remains of all other worlds, it's all gunky and incomplete with some small areas of places you've been. I could do without the plot dump and strange area design, even if it does look creepy. I do love the fights get really tough at this point. (Why is Fantasia just randomly here, they couldn't fit it anywhere else? Oh well it's cool.) B tier KH2 World that Never Was: Basically a Nobody city but you just kind of go down a corridor. It has plenty of boss fights with different difficulty, Riku shows up to help, but it also just feels like it's getting the last of the XIII out of the way. It is concluding the story and the final boss is awesome in all it's forms. KH3 Keyblade Graveyard Boss rush: It honestly felt like KH2 but even more rushed, drop everyone in, finish every sub plot and bring every character in. Part of it probably feels rushed cause it doesn't feel like the end of the game but just where the mid point should be. Last fight is just so chaotic but awesome, though I think I prefer KHII's more. Again it's just a corridor of set pieces and boss fights but most of them didn't seem hard until the last fight.

Good list! I both agree and disagree with several of your choices, which considering you just covered 42 worlds is quite likely! Also you sorta covered 42 Worlds. You smashed the "extra" worlds in KH3 together which I actually give you props for since I feel like alot of people pretend, because of size, they don't exist. This may shock some people but KH3 has the second largest amount of worlds in the series with 14, leaving only KH2 having more at 15. Think about it people...you'll see I'm correct. Granted, a couple of them barely count...but you had that with the likes of Disney Castle and Atlantica in KH2 as well and everyone feels fine including those towards it's grand total. Anyhoo, loved the list and I watched straight through. Also, really like your KH series waifu videos. Lotsa fun! A bit disturbing in a few places...but so much fun! I don't know if you're into either Star Trek or Resident Evil as franchises, but if you are, I would not object to your particular brand of humor being attached to some videos tied to either or both of these.

For S Tier worlds, I would have the Caribbean from KH3 (obvs), Symphony of Sorcery from DDD, Monstropolis from KH3, Halloween Town from KH2, Neverland from BBS and Beast's Castle from KH2. F Tier for me would be Hundred Acre Wood from KH3 and Atlantica from KH1 and 2

I may be blinded by nostalgia, but Traverse town will always be S tier for me. Just hearing the soundtrack triggers instant nostalgia for me and reminds me of my love for the first game. It’s also where you first get Donald and goofy in your party and briefly reunite with Riku. Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but I also think it’s way better than twilight town. Twilight town kinda freaked me out as a kid with all the glitches and the mansion and just how empty and sad it felt. Plus I hated all the mini games there.

Twilight Town KH2 deserves S-tier for Lazy Afternoons alone

The reason Traverse Town is empty is because that's... kinda the point, I guess? In the lore, Traverse Town ONLY appears when a world falls into Darkness, and it serves as basically a "drop-off point" for every world's population. If your world gets consumed by Darkness (while you're there), you end up in Traverse Town. (This is why Leon and the gang are there in KH1, their homeworld of Radiant Garden was swallowed by Darkness.)
