Go to the dollar tree and get some knee high stockings and put the fluff in it. That’s how I do it. I use both poly fill and Polly pellets.

Hello! First off, thanks for asking me to test your voodoo doll! Super easy and quick. I had fun making it. I think your hippo is perfect (I have that pattern saved too) and to me, the lashes makes it. I would not stop using them if you are going to make more. Love the little birds too. I’ve never tried those, yet! I had so much fun Friday making that video. Didn’t edit a thing, what we did, people saw, and they really enjoyed it! Yay!! 🦋💖

I like the lashes, but they come on a plastic disk that you put under the eye like the color disk and with the eyes being the 3d type I think it messed with the shape. That or i placed them in the wrong spot 🤣 maybe the regular style eyes would work better I'll have to try.

Hey Robin! I did a market with a friend before and here’s what we did with the price/money etc. when you price your plushies, put small initials in a corner of the price tag on the back. When someone one buys the plushie, cut the price tag off and if it’s your initials put it to one side (or a little container) and if it’s Sues initials, put it in a different container. It won’t matter who uses the square or takes the money because when the market ends you tally up your price tags and sue tallies hers and you divide the money that way. I’m sure there are many other ideas too but that’s what we found worked for us. Hope that helps!

Oh my gosh, I gotta make the hippo! She reminds me of Gloria from the Madagascar movie. 🙂 Thanks for posting a link to the pattern! I noticed on her hippo she uses white yarn to frame the eyes. Maybe of you did it they would look better for ya. I think it's adorable!!! Voodoo doll is very cool!

Everything looks great as always 😊. Just a little tip for you for putting your thicker yarn through your button when the needle won't fit through the button, I use the little loop tooth floss thingys...not sure what they are called but they work great and are cheap too ! Hope this helps 🥰

I love, love, love the hippo, - she is gorgeous 😀. I want to "enter" the amigurumi world, but for now I stay with my clothes, - like cardigans, tops, hats etc. Your snakes are "scary", - I mean... I´, soooo afraid hihi... But... Good work! 😀

Glad you enjoyed it! We had fun making it. I like the hippo but no eyelashes next time and maybe non sinking safety eyes so I can see if that's why the head look strange to me.

@@KnottingHookCrochet I thought it looked good. I’m a fan of the eyelashes have been using them on my cows from OneCentCrochet and adding a real cow bell. Have you thought about getting the eyelashes from a dollar store and cutting them in half and glueing them on the eyes? I haven’t tried it but it sounds good in my head 😂😂

Buy it off season and it will be cheaper! The shape of the head on this snake is nice and it's a little wider for the body with 12 stitches so easy to handle.

I just printed that Hippo pattern this morning! I did my first craft show with a friend. We each had our own table and we rang our own sales. If someone bought from both of us we did it separately if on a card. If they paid with cash, we paid each other right away.

I adore your newest creation ❤ When my daughter and I share a booth she does all the transactions requiring machines, then takes out the fees and hands me the cash from her monies. If it can’t happen right away then we write it down and settle making change whatever when there is a lull in foot traffic or at the end of the day. For your short haired zombie try making the hair slightly longer or how about twisting the hair then go back into the head and coming out for the next strand, burning the final end in the skull. ❤Love your channel! We are tossing around one person handling the transactions and keeping track with the tags. With 2 of us we should be able to keep track however we decide to do it. (fingers crossed)😂

Have you tried embroidery thread for sewing the buttons on? For smaller holes I separate a few strands, it works great.

Teal instead of emerald, you are a rebel! JK! I actually think the teal would look better than the emerald to me. It’s more true to the actual Bird. The etsy shop is goofy - if I look at my favorite shop list I can click on the voodoo pattern but if I go to your shop directly it does not show up. Also I didn't have a notification that you had a new pattern. I was able to get it but wanted to let you know it's acting like a ghost instead of a voodoo doll 😂

The hippo is the first pattern I have made. Just make plushies for fun. I think the eyes look good, but the mouth placement needs to be lowered, imo. I didn't embroider a mouth on mine.
