Hi fam. All tortoises are protected by law in South Africa and may not be killed, captured or kept in captivity. The only reason to pick one up would be to remove it to a place of safety from a position where it was unlikely to survive - e.g. - a busy road or from the threat of an approaching fire.

Hello you all I remember raising my sons who are grown men right now doing great in life and careers , I might add! But Chase reminds me of them however Chase has an advantage of living in South Africa 🇿🇦 some people will never make the trip to the motherland! Being well travelled is a level of life comes in handy helps you to adapt to others and understand different cultures! Math there is probably milligrams and stuff The USA didn’t make us learn it unless you were maybe a doctor or pharmacist. I tried the dog thing it was a disaster no no ! lol 😂 Chase remember nothing from nothing leaves nothing…I used to love that song! I have a daughter as well she is older than all the 3 sons lol me and she are close!!! Do miss them much my Janet Jackson voice lol 😂!!!1🇿🇦🇺🇸

You're absolutely correct! 💯 Most will not take the trip. It's ONLY after visiting when you realize that there really is a better way of living outside of Ole Girl 🇺🇸 We were duped into believing that it doesn't get any better. Unfortunately, a lot of them will remain under that delusion. We miss family and friends too, but not enough to move back! 😆😅🤣 In the words of Chase, 'We miss our family, but not America'.
