Prayer of the Day
God of love and compassion, you are the great "I AM” - the one who is and was and ever shall be. Today help us grasp more fully how Jesus is for us the bread of life who satisfies our deepest hungers, needs, and longings. Daily nourish us with your abundant grace, hope, and healing power, that we may go to offer food to others who are hungering physically or spiritually, because all people and this world you made matter to you and to us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
