About Greg Fitzsimmons:
Mixing an incisive wit with scathing sarcasm, Greg Fitzsimmons is an accomplished stand-up, an Emmy Award winning writer, and a host on TV, radio and his own podcasts. Greg wrote and appeared on the Judd Apatow HBO series “Crashing.” Writing credits include HBO’s “Lucky Louie,” “Cedric the Entertainer Presents,” “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher,” “The Man Show” and many others. On his mantle beside the four Daytime Emmys he won as a writer and producer on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” sit “The Jury Award for Best Comedian” from The HBO Comedy Arts Festival and a Cable Ace Award for hosting the MTV game show "Idiot Savants."

Not a huge celebrity for obituaries but I just heard Judy Belushi died. A recent doc about John showed the letters between the two towards the end. It was heartbreaking because you see they truly loved each other but he was so far gone.

I think the text around the frame indicates that we're viewing into Calvin's imagination, and the sci fi crap is less important, hence the miniature text. Listening to you guys interpret Calvin and Hobbes reminds me of how I haven't gotten into Hemingway. I found Old Man and the Sea tedious both times I gave it a chance. Might've picked the wrong book.

So for the case of Serenity Bushy................ .. seriously though, _WHICH_ Constitutional right does this law violate that prohibits hiring exotic dancers that are under 21? If this violates her Constitutional rights, this means we can't deny alcohol to people who are 18+. So basically there isn't a right that is being violated. "Congress shall not prevent the titty from exposure if the titties are 18 or older." It'll pass right through. I mean it rhymes too, ya know? That's how Amendments were passed most quickly in the past, make them rhyme.

Wow - wonder if Greg didn't give a full chance to "A Black Lady Sketch Show" because that series was Key & Peele level funny, twisted / clever as hell, crazy under-rated show that deserved more eyes on it. Is it a gender thing? One of the four went on to create, write and star in more network friendly current Abbott Elementary.

Greg and Mike seem to be unaware of review-bombing on Rotten Tomatoes. If a show contains progressive ideas, and/or is built primarily around women or POC, the MAGA chuds set up fake reviews to bring the audience score down artificially. Whether its actually good or not

Wait, I used to not like Kamala Harris.. but what's wrong with Kamala Harris? I expected her to be Ms. Vice Principal with the office but had been unexpectedly humble and eager to learn from Biden's experience. She's also polling better than Biden in one of those stupid county fair carnival BS polls by whatever yokels take them. If you want to sound smart with politics, talk about ideas instead of people. This is actually a request in the form of advice, but it's also true. Amazingly, people think the people matter. _The ideas matter!!_ I think some of us think that gossip is a way to BS their way through a political discussion, but it only does the opposite. People aren't following Bernie Sanders because he's old. It's because he's been telling the truth and has good ideas. You know the truth by following the news, print news. Television news might as well be entirely gossip, I get aggravated at it sometimes.

Eddie Murphy is my earliest comedy influence and he remains this to this day. But he's had some disappointments on screen. Beverly Hills Cop 2 is probably the funniest action movie of all time. Beverly Hills Cop was almost as good. Beverly Hills Cop 3 is only watchable by hate watching it. You see him scrambling around Rodeo Dr. for a payphone at one point. This was like 1996, people had cell phones. Kids didn't have them like today, but professionals did. The movie is so phoned in by just about everyone involved.
