A romantic night at @spanishbutcher ❤️
📍 Location: Spanish Butcher, 80 Miller Street G11DT (5 minutes walk from George Square)
🤤 Food: It was a special occasion so my partner and I decided to splurge on delicious steak and boy did we make the right decision going to Spanish Butcher! We ordered a Charcuterie Board to share between two (Jamon, chorizo, salchichón, lomo Iberico, Gordal olives, manchego, croquetas, toasted sourdough £24) as a starter, which was fantastic! I'm a big fan of cured meats and haven't really had the opportunity to try Spanish ones so what was offered was DELICIOUS! I ate that board up! Also if you like pecorino, the manchego they had on the board was the same texture and same deliciousness as that 🧀
For our mains, we ordered Galician Chateau to share along with two sauces; Mojo Verde and Peppercorn (£15 per 100g), sides of Manchego Truffle Fries (£6) and extra side of Manchego Mac and Cheese (Puffed Paprika Pork Skin £6). Can I just say that the steak was cooked to medium rare perfection. It was a stunning buttery piece of meat and I was internally screaming while consuming it 😭 So good!! The Mojo Verde sauce was also incredible (not sure what it's made with but DAMN was it good!). I can't fault anything that we ate - it was all perfect! And I want to go back so badly 😂
💲 Cost: We weren't budgeting and really wanted to splurge so spent under £200 for food and drinks between the two of us 😂 Worth it though! You really don't need to spend this much but just keep in mind that it's generally pricey.
💎 Vibes: The restaurant is beautiful! A lovely place to dress up pretty for dinner! Me and my partner were celebrating a special occasion and were treated so well by the staff (they gifted us glasses of prosecco for the occasion too)! I loved Spanish Butcher so much and would go back again for romantic date nights 🥰
