Thanks Steve. There is a well known quote from Maya Angelou "I've learned that people will forget what you said, they will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel". I think this is where, for me, the emotional intelligence comes in. Do you want to be remembered for being kind? Being compassionate? I certainly do. 😊

When reactions are uncontrollable, it's fear that they are coming from! The ego wants to keep us protected, when we are so identified with our thoughts and the body or status in the world we often think it's all a competition to survive and be right, which you couldn't ever be happy if you're not present in each moment!

Beautifully said 'Father Steve'. I wish every single church globally would echo your words in this video! Today I commented to my husband, the pandemic of very recent years served to create distance, a division between us as humans. This morning as I was watering my plants on our front porch I heard two grown men (note: not grown ups) using crude language and complaining violently about a Robin! FFS! A Robin. They were literally angry about it messing on their front porch, or the chair on their porch, or heaven forbid on their cars! One was miffed because it pecked at the glass on their door and they found it too distracting. From what? Their cell phone! Angry at a bird?!?!? The one then proceeded to say he tore down their nest and didn't bother to look if there were eggs in it! There, he gloated! Have we really de-volved so far that anger, vitriol is taken out on a beautiful song bird! What does THAT say about 'humanity'. The Upstairs Department makes notes!

Steve, I have to say that I truly appreciated the way you have talked about the Astrology of recent events and sadly, the anger and hatred that came towards you, reflects what is going on in the US. I feel very sad about that. In my opinion, you are leaving a beautiful legacy in your teachings and videos and I feel honoured to be your student. I suspect that much of the hatred is coming from what amounts to a fundamentalist cult. And yes, cults are often driven by angry and frightened fundamentalists...whether religious, political or whatever. So thanks much for a beautiful sermon and I just wish that more people, regardless of their views or persuasion, could listen and take what you are saying seriously - because it is.

Thanks Steve for your care, concern and compassion for our collective. From where I sit at this moment, here in the US, it looks like we are wrestling with the ugly monsters we tried to hide in our collective basement while we were pretending to the world, and each other, that our founders were pure of spirit and therefore our nation must be too. Rubbish! The ghosts of the massive hypocrisy we have gas-lit ourselves and the world with: that we see everyone as equals and that no one is above the law (just to name a few of the lies we tell ourselves) are chickens that are coming home to roost now that we are entering the full embrace of our nation’s Pluto return. We have massive unresolved issues around greed and power. We have massive unresolved issues around racism and misogyny. We have massive issues around how we identify with and project our religious practices and beliefs. We keep pretending that it was better in the past than it is now, so we refuse to grow up, as a collective. And we have a small-minded minority who feel that now is the time to leverage the moment and overturn all the genuinely good work that has been done so they can take us back to a mythic past where women, people of color and poverty all were kept down and kept in line by protective white-daddy figures who know best and who want us all to use THEIR bible to make and enforce laws thru the government. Half our population just lost rights that we worked hard for and were promised were ours by the very people who have now stripped them away. This is not OK. There is a sense of huge stakes here and yes, a lot of people are on edge. For those who can turn it all off and pretend it is not happening…I would just say this: no one believed that Hitler could do what he did, until he did. I hope we can manage our way to a brighter, better, more truly egalitarian and enlightened future together, I really do. Somehow we must face the roots of our discontent and heal them. I chose to envision a world full of people who are living in hope, cooperation and collective creativity to solve the big issues we keep generating for ourselves! Thank you for all that you do to ring that bell and shine the Light of the Stars so we can all see a wee bit better!!! ❤

I believe that these hate-filled folks are indeed afraid. I would wager they were profoundly damaged during their childhoods. In childhood, we have almost no control over our fates. If our world is not filled with loving, happy people that make us feel safe and loved, we grow up scrabbling toward the top of the heap, believing that only from the top we will be safe. Such folks believe that they cannot have all they want unless others are deprived of it. They are black holes of childhood need that cannot be satisfied. I do not believe such souls can be reached via reason. All I know to do is send them unconditional love while affirming that the child within will feel it and begin to be healed.

“Nagarjuna wrote that although our physical eyes only see others, nevertheless, the way we look at others could become a mirror unto ourselves. We see faults in others very easily and clearly, but often these are simply projections of our own defects. For example, if someone is very angry, they will perceive others that way because they project their anger onto others. So our perception of others can be a mirror we use to see our own mind. This is especially relevant in describing the relationship between guru and disciple: when the student projects their faults onto the guru, they become the student’s mirror. The main point here is our practice is not going well if we are unaware of even our greatest flaws but very aware of the slightest imperfection in others."

Thank you Steve, well said it's always worth remembering. Back in 1996 I wrote an Article for the Sun newspaper entitled 'Honey I shrank the Mortgage'. This was in response to the huge number of families losing their homes because the mortgage payments were too high. At the time nobody would discuss this with me and I was seen as a bit of a trouble maker. I shrank the mortgage by surrendering my endowment policy early and going for the best discounted deal I could find - when this came to an end, I'd look for another deal and slowly, very slowly, I crawled out of the pit of debt. Recently, I showed this story to some neighbours - they don't speak to me any more, which confirms my suspicions that they could only believe the gossip and cruel lies said about me! Hey ho! Don't let the trolls bring you down, I need your wisdom now and in the future x

Thank you for posting this. I’m currently dealing with my own neighborhood trolls, treating me like a character in a reality show instead of a human being. Addiction to drama I suspect. Anyway thanks for reminding me it’s theirs not mine. I know my flaws, late degree Pluto in Virgo 8th house, I can’t help but self analyze my own flaws, but I’m not taking on anyone else’s version of them. They need a good look in the mirror and deal with their own pu like the nasty people leaving comments on Steve’s channel here. So nasty Steve felt obligated to confront. Boundaries. I have a lot of people in my own life who lack boundaries. Maybe they’ll read this and push off.

Appreciate the message. Started watching your videos after your duet with Rick Levine.. Speaking for myself, i am completely worn out with everything having to do with humans in the world. From where i live in Eugene OR in US, people are fearful because they are about to lose their homes, can't afford healthcare, xant afford groceries, are on the verge of homelessness, and also in my case have no close friends or family for real support. Tell me, how can you not be in pain, which often is showed through anger, when these are the ever constant daily life? I also have severe chronic illness and live where drug addicts and homelessness is rampant, crime is sky high.... These are scary times for millions of humans. Barely able to survive leads to desperation. Desperation leads to anger and lashing out. Prayers to all living creatures. This earth schoolroom has grown dire my friends. Longing for release.

Thank you, Steve! We are so blessed to have you as a beautiful soul. The stats you mentioned does reflect the political divide in the USA and very likely the World. In my view, lack of goals and personal responsibility play a big role. Laziness also contributes to the story as many wish to take stories at face value without finding the facts. Corruption started creeping into our highest levels of government. Observe those that steal from the government by not paying taxes. This is critical because it means less funds to build your towns infrastructure. Without a solid infrastructure, overtime one will see the collapse of a country and nations. So when selecting those to represent you in government, make sure they are representing your interests - better schools? Better healthcare programs? A social security pay check that you paid while employed as part of a safety net in your old age? Better roads and bridges to facilitate travel and commerce? The list is infinite. So when I read or hear those that select leaders that represent the 7 cardinal sins, I can only wonder if they prefer selecting individuals that take away from their interests because their hatred towards humanity supersedes their own or collective good. Doing nothing is not an option and again shows laziness. So choose kindness and choose what’s best for you, your family, and your neighbors. Don’t let others manipulate you to take actions that don’t serve your wellbeing.

You are correct: while I question the hateful events around the world I also recognise the Aggression that rises up in me. Your readings help me stay balanced and I am always encouraged by the long term changes you point to. Bless you Steve and all of your followers.

I would like to be remembered for being congruent. For what I say & I what I do to match. For stepping away from incongruence when I can't change it. For being loving, especially to those who I care about the most. And for enjoying a laugh! One of life's free gifts and only spreads joy! 😂

Many people have been hoodwinked and they are now seeing the grift - the lying- it’s like a child finding out their parent is a crook.
