I really like your fabric boxes! They are so useful for the little pieces for slow stitching. An excellent idea to use safety pins instead of straight pins. Saves losing a pin on the ground and getting stepped on. Not that I know anything about that! Just don’t ask the hubs he seems to attract them! TFS❤

😱🫶 I LOVE these boxes! This is awesome. I am going to put making one of these ahead of a journal! I bought a little kit as well, and started making the cover, because it was a stitch book. Meaning, it had cloth pages to stitch on every page. It was a little overwhelming to start out with, and I didn’t finish it. But I love the idea of doing these little 5 inch blocks at a time. And then putting them together. So happy you are doing this series! You are the best Rita! Hugs 🤗❤️🧵🪡

Just discovered your channel and I am definitely in! I also have a question - I have lots of fleece, big and small and nobody wants it. Can these pieces be used for anything (other than patched dogblankets (which are not wanted anymore). I used to take that fleece from people because I can't stand things just being thrown away, but now I need to clean out or do something with them. Any ideas?

I have been thinking about your fleece. I also had several pieces from making blankets for my grandchildren when they were little, but I gave most of it to the young moms at church. Now, I think I could have used them as batting for slow stitching, and it would have been so easy to sew through! I wish I could have been more helpful! Thanks so much for watching…🧵✂️🪡
