Love tuning into PFT knowing Im going to get different stories and angles than all the other sports programs. The business/legal side of the NFL is super interesting and adds another layer of entertainment (for me at least) during the Season.

Buggs is under contract but has played zero plays. Also the Chiefs did nothing to promote this. They have cut players in the past for bad behavior.

When the ticket prices in KC are around $400 per game, I have a hard time thinking that the taxpayers shouldn't expect to pay the bills for the Hunt family.

@@bobbykiriakidis9753 it really doesn't matter. When I checked Stubhub, the three games I was hoping to get to this season were upper deck at $250 each, and the lower started in the $500 range.

To be a 'come back player' one has to have been there, otherwise they can't be "back" the example of Geno being comeback shouldn't fit because he was never there to get back to. Same with Tannehill, he was never good until he was so he didn't Come Back, he just finally arrived

His comeback of the year concern hinges on the definition of "playing time." Does playing time really mean being available to play? Can you miss playing time that you were never scheduled to play? I'd say that you can't miss playing time that you were never slated to get, and that would take care of the Geno Smith and Joe Flacco issue

Huge case. I'd guess 20% of fans root for out of market teams and another 20% generally want more games (FF or otherwise). A journalist willing to nook and cranny this case would be well followed and appreciated. Very interesting if wool is being laid out.

you have taken the cheese, Mike. having sunday tickets as a premium service does not violate any law and is within the spirit of the NFLs anti-trust exemption. the case was thrown out before and judge is mad now because they are making irrelevant arguments and speeches with the intent of stirring emotions of the jury to a point where they decide the case on emotion instead of the law. the only actual thing that matters is if the NFL's exemption only applies the technology that existed when it was granted or does the exemption extend to new technology. the NFL is under no legal obligation to do any of the things you are ranting about. you show me the law that says any business is required to not only give you the price you want but all the specific choices you want just because you want them. no. its only about how the exemption is going to be interpreted.

It’s insanity that Florio is a voter. He doesn’t even watch film. But Simms isn’t a voter?? You can’t watch PFT for 20 seconds without realizing that Simms is light years beyond Florio in actual football knowledge. It’s not even a comparison. This fool Florio doesn’t even know how to analyze a player at any given position within a scheme and against a particular defensive scheme etc. etc. it’s literally insanity. They should only have voters that actually do their job and watch film and truly know what they’re talking about

The NFL would be in the worst condition possible if it EVER considered Florio’s opinion on anything related to football. Maybe he would be qualified on giving opinions about chess or some other dweeby stuff but this guys never even put on a helmet before, doesn’t ever watch film, couldn’t even break down cover 2 on the whiteboard for you, has never been a part of a football team where only then can you truly understand the culture. That would be like PeeWee Herman making decisions for the UFC

KC q had a poisonous culture for years. If it wasn't so many they'd do what they can to get out of the media. It goes all the way back to Hunt. I also love Hunt. However, that happened while he was a Chief and that was way back in 2018. It has continued to grow throughout. It seems similar culture-wise like what Cam Newton talks about regarding the Florida Gators.
