The end of that season was one of the best I've seen! The Chelsea game was one of the best I've seen at the SoL and the party atmosphere at the Everton game was amazing! One of first Sunderland memories was Defoe's winner against Chelsea. 0-1, 1-1, 1-2 then 2-2 and finally 3-2. I knew then I'd be a Sunderland fan until my dying day. Shame I hadn't been told following Sunderland will seriously shorten your life!!

Who's here after hearing about Defoe most likely returning. I can't see him going to the championship because he won't get any game time and he won't go to Charlton or Portsmouth because they are not going up or its unlikely they will go up this season and they don't have as good fans as we do, I think its best if he comes back to Wearside.

Sam Allardyce took a bunch of overpaid bone-idle clowns, and turned them into a half decent team who were difficult to beat. They might get relegated next season with him now going to england, or they'll do what they've done the last 4 seasons of being crap and struggling, then sacking the manager in february and appointing someone new who will give em a lift in the end of season run in and do just enough to keep em up. Alot of those sunderland players have got away with lack of amibition and near murder there and kept rolling in the pay check for years
