This is a great method! Thanks for the video! I wasn't using whole strands so my petals looked too thin, but doubling to 12 strands is perfect and easy! 🙂

@dyanimoriah Embroidery thread comes in 6 strands. Cut a long piece, thread your needle, then bring the 2 ends of the thread to meet and tie a knot, and voila you have 12 strands

You would just have to use more stands. In this video it mentions 12, which is two full embroidery floss stands (each stand has 6 threads) might be worth while to use warn

My granddaughter wants to do her first ever project with me and she selected your SUNFLOWER. Sorry to say, you showed each petal with all up and down stiches and the middle section you did as if you are showing some magic trick! Not good! My granddaughter is disappointed and I need to search if you have another video where she can learn the french knot. Thanks for the video.
