sungkyu is the type of singer that doesnt need to hit highnote for him to prove that he is a good singer but when he hit highnote you'll surely die.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. For me, Sunggyu and also Kevin Oh always have some kind of magic that hit me and give me feels every time they sing even though they only sing normally. They have something I can't explain lingering in their voice.

I keep coming back to this particular performance of Sunggyu. It's only very few times I like a cover version better than the original and this song is one of them. He does Nell's songs justice and to hear how Nell praise him for his ability in capturing the essence of their music shows how deeply talented he is. I miss my Infinite days. I hope all the members are doing well nowadays. Hope Hamster Leader is healthy and happy.

Watched this in 2021. I remember back in 2010-2011 era during my degree studies he was my ultimate bias in infinite and I was really into kpop back then .My interest in kpop faded over time after I started working . Now 7 years later, watching this clip made me think how can I forget his beautiful voice all over these years.... Sungkyu still an amazing singer as I remember back then 🤍

Sunggyu really stands apart from the throng of other idols out there. He has a real artistry about him and his music has substance and maturity. I can't wait for his next solo activities, I love Infinite but he seems most comfortable like this

More & more people are covering this song but I keep coming back to Sunggyu cover. Its so passionate and hypnotic. His voice has really changed over the years and he knows how to control it better now. I can't wait for his next solo :)

I love Infinite to bits, have had for many years now and all of them are superb performers... but Sunggyu is just special... He has not only a beautiful voice but also the talent and the emotions... I'm in love with this performance. Love his gestures, movements, and facial expressions - he's just really putting in a lot of emotion and I can feel it. It gives me goosebumps. And he's so on pitch, and his vibrato is beautiful, especially for being live.

do you hear how silent the audience is after Sungkyu finishes Kontrol? how they're all holding their breaths, hanging on to every note he sings? That's the mark of a truly awe-inspiring performance. I remember him singing Time Walking Through Memories in the debut period, and I was so moved by it, it was still a little insecure but full of emotions. But now... seeing him grow for five years, and singing this again... with such an amazing voice, emotions. I can't help but cry like an idiot. His voice is like one of an angel, I couldn't live without hearing it everyday

Everything after 04:00 is just heaven. Sunggyu is one of these idols you need to always look out for. His voice is so stable, so well-built, soft and controlled. The combination with his natural vibrato makes me come back to this video every time. Among all idols, there sure are very good singers but he is one of the best. Refusing lip sync because it is easier to sing live, always being true to himself, not forcing high notes but being capable of singing them so comfortably: this is what I come for :D

I know he's not the best looking in infinite, but this is the reason why he's my bias. Something about his voice is just so captivating and beautiful. Even though the other members are bias wreckers, my heart always comes back to sungkyu when I hear him sing. The emotions he puts when he sings makes me feel those emotions too... I don't know how to properly explain it.. I just have so much love and respect for him. :') (oh and besides all that, he's such an adorable leader and his personality is awesome too!) 😆😍😍😍
