ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட பகுதியை மட்டும் வளர்ச்சி படித்தி எந்த பயனும் இல்லை அது உகந்ததும் இல்லை சென்னை போல் 2ண்டு அல்லது மூன்று நகரங்களை மேம்படுத்தினால் 1.மக்கள் கூட்டம் ஒரே இடத்தில் வந்து அமையாது 2.வேலை வாய்ப்புகள் அனைத்து பகுதிகளுக்கும் கிடைக்கும் 3.சிக்கலான தருணங்களில் மழை வெள்ளத்தில் அல்லது நீர் பற்ற குறையால் முழுவதும் தடைப்படாமல் இருக்கும் 4.சென்னையில் கோடி கோடியாக வளர்ச்சி நடந்தாலும் சாக்கடை குப்பை எங்கே செழிகின்றது அதற்கு இந்த அரசு எவ்வளவு செலவு செய்கின்றது என்பது பலருக்கு தெரியாது இருந்தும் சென்னையில் எங்கு பார்த்தாலும் ஒரே குப்பை சாக்கடை இத்தனைக்கும் இன்று இந்த அளவு சென்னையில் கூட்டம் இருந்தும் நாம் இங்கு வாழ்கின்றோம் என்றால் அத்தனைக்கும் சொந்தக்காரர்கள் தூய்மை பணியாளர்கள் தான் . கடந்த 8 வருடங்கள் இங்கு வசிக்கிறேன் அவர்கள் பணி மிகவும் அற்பணிப்பானது.கோடி கொள்ளை அடித்து கோபுரத்தில் உட்காந்து தீன்று கொழுத்து போய் கிடக்கும் அரசியல்வியதிகள் அவர்கள் மீது அக்கறை கொண்டால் சிறந்தது 5.சாக்கடை கழிவு நீரை வெளியேற்றி அதை சுத்த படுத்த எவ்வளவு வீண் செலவு செய்கின்றது என்பதை அங்கு சென்று அலசி பார்த்தால் தெரியும் குறிப்பு. கர்நாடக மாநிலம் பெங்களூர் மட்டும் வளர்ச்சி அடைய செய்து தவறு என்று உணர்ந்து சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே மைசூரு மங்களூர் மற்றும் பின்தங்கிய ஹூப்ளி பகுதிகளில் மேம்பாட்டு வசதிகளை தொடங்கியது எதிர்பார்த்தது போல் பெங்களூரில் வெள்ளம் மற்றும் சாலை நெரிசல் தொல்லைகள் நாளடைவில் அதிகமடைந்த வருகின்றது

I can notice that most of the comments given are against metro in Chennai. We must understand that there will be an issue in terms of traffic and road blocks due to metro work for the next 5 years. After that, it will be available for is to use metro. It's good for the city. You don't need to depend on road traffic. There will be an initial stage of struggle for the next 5 years and then we can enjoy... This is one of the best mode of transport that we can provide for our next generation.

Using Metro is one of a costly journey however people like u can afford. If it like a local train charging 5 to 10 rupees and covering majority of the areas in Chennai traffic will come down by 70%. Metro is worst local train is the best!

@@EASY-ed3pc true chennai metro is one of the costliest in the country. But it is promised that when phase 2 adjoins phase 1 and length of corridors is increased by 2026, costs will be lowered. But don't have hopes for it to be cheap like delhi metro. Since Cmrl doesn't have the necessary ridership as delhi and bangalore's metro.

@@EASY-ed3pc its cheap compared to mtc bus tickets and time you spend to travel on bus and train. Anna nagar to central/airport you can reach in 25min with all your luggages. No delay like other public transport you will get metro for every 5 min.

Chennai Metro will carry more than 15 lakhs passengers once phase-II works get completed. It’s will be a most reliable and safe transport mode. People start using metro more and more in coming years.

Metro tickets must be ADORABLE' During FLOOD Times Underline Metros will Sink in Water for sure. EMU Local Trains Count must be increased. Instead of Creating Under line Tracks we can Create Underground Water Reservoirs connecting to the Nearby Canals for Clearing Flood Waters but this is INDIA WE CANT GET IT 🤔 SICK

Good project. But priority should be given for the existing system. What about the rain water lines and drainage system in Chennai. Concerned department please take care of those pipe lines simultaneously because that is most important. If precautions are taken care of please explain them to the benefit of the public. இந்த metro திட்டத்தினால் மக்களுக்கு எந்த பயனும் இல்லை. சாலையை அகலப்படுத்தி மேம்பாலம் அமைத்தால் தான் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலை குறைக்கலாம். ஆனால் அவர்களுக்கு தேவை commision மட்டும் தான்.

Annoying tbh, the new station is coming near the kutchery road mosque so they stopped the one bus that comes through that direction. They'll also be closing a part of Luz i think. But I'm excited to see how it all turns out once everything is complete

Coimbatore metro when?? Already most bridges task are very slow.. Develop other cities like Kovai, Madurai, Trichy, salem etc.. Then only as a state TN also will develop. If people gets more infrastructures facilities for state & central govt also will also get benefits..

Wrong design,,, have to do with over bridge,,, because during flood, even roads are closed because of flood, always design willbe minimum 2meter height from sea level, but here in chennai lots of places sea level and under,... It's made so many problems in using ... Don't do it in tunnel .....

Why this much depth and that too onward and return journey at different levels. This is total absurdity against passenger convenience ... It defeats the entire purpose of fast travel between two points. Already the central metro is a total waste where one has take a 1 km walk upto train coach from depths when the elevators are not functioning...
