Yoruba is special. No questions at all. Very loaded philosophical language. You can feel the void in linguistic beauty conducting this interview in any other language but Yoruba. In more organized places, this man will be richer than some of those artists he worked with. Nice work.

I thought as much...I was born in the 80s but I always wonder how much philosophical KSA is in his music. Those words are too deep, even when he was younger. Well done to him though for doing his assignment thoroughly his songs are ever green. My dad in his early 70s is one of ksa greatest fan

What an insightful interview. The man is really talented. Having composed songs for super star musicians in the genres of Juju and Fuji music, I wonder why he cannot be helped financially by them. Furthermore, he is supposed to be receiving appreciable amount of money in royalties for his intellectual property registered over the years. Sunny Alade Records is owned by KSA for whom this gentleman claimed to have written lyrics and composed songs. KSA probably has a recording studio that feeds into the Alade Records. One cannot have a better connection in the music industry than KSA. Is there a kink in their relationship?

It depends on the contractual agreement . They can agree on one time pay off , which is usually huge , or royalty (commission) which will be less but for an agreed period of time which might be a lifetime and even transferrable to his descendants . As he didn't accuse them of anything , it is logical to say they have kept their own side of the bargain .

Very informative and i never knew all these great musicians have someone composing for them.I hope he was paid for his works. However, why is everyone talking about how nice to conduct the interview in English? What is wrong in conducting the interview in any indigenous language? All that'll needed to reach more audience is to translate.Africans should be proud of what they have and start doing things there own way or can you ask a white man to do an interview in your Africans language?

Conducting the interview in Yoruba language could have brought out more depth on the subject matter, the baba did well in his English expression but more interesting information would have spilled out if conducted otherwise. & translating or cc in English for the benefits of the non yoruba speaking audience.
