9.20 in video 📷 that carpark was the Jaggy thistle nite spot, Marton moss is 1 of the oldest parts to be built along with Layton hall, Central area came much later

13.20 in Video Foxhall market big fire in the 90's i remember seeing the black smoke from the m55 motorway, Cause of fire was put down to disposable lighters Below the market was under 18's disco called zoe's later change to paddingtons this was around 1984

@@BlackpoolandBeyond Yes the old market was Lovely in timber and art deco, Them horrible red st Anne's bricks looks a mess, Blackpool was booming in the 70's & 80's Lytham rd you had to walk on the roads because the pavements was jammed packed with holiday makers every working men's clubs were packed, then cheap foreign holidays and smoking ban killed them, since 2000 Blackpool has become a Dumping ground other councils have paid people with moving costs to move here 1 Less problem for other councils to deal with, Where you from mark

Hi Mark, what an enjoyable video this is, filled with information and personal recommendations, on a walk around the back streets and Thora ways of Blackpool, the town was bustling and a goldmine for people watchers like myself, also you managed to fit in views of the seafront, this video had it all, thank you for all your hard work in bringing this video to us I have enjoyed it all can't wait for the next one, keep them coming please.

Lifeboat pub and 3 shops along was Alexander pub old stomping ground used by Mixi Walsh respected in the town if you had a problem Mixi would sort it along with billy, Jimmy, pat Wallace very feared in Blackpool, In the summer seasons Blackpool had a reputation for hard men not like today's doormen old school would take sling you old and made sure they never came back

Next to rose and crown flower shop a old friend of the family Pauline been there donkeys years Lovely woman, Pub was called crown the 80's and above was called promises nite spot met Nigel benn boxer in there DJ for the night

Our next adventure there will be Christmas..but if the weekend is lovely we will be over for the day....plus Shushhhhhh it's my birthday on the 7 October hope to be there for it ..probably the Ruskin but our go to place is the Hotel Sheraton....was there 11- 18 August
