@Ciel Well, I mean, yeah, we know Something _represents_ Mari, but as far as the game is concerned, it's just hallucinations. I personally like to believe that there is an actual physical (sorta) ghost, that being Mari, looking like Something because that's how terrified Sunny is of her. Which kinda makes the ending, where Sunny moves out, while being forever followed by Something, sadder to me. Because that would mean his Sister is right behind him, silently screaming at the top of her lungs for him to go back, to at least check up on Basil, trying to get through to him, but can't.
