The trail is running to Panorama Point, a stunning viewpoint that is about as close to the summit of Rainier as you can get without an ice ax. And the mountain view that opens from the panorama point will definitely impress you. We hiked this trail in August, during wildfires period, that is why you can see some haziness in the sky.
