Join James Lumley from Sunseeker Southampton on an exclusive first look the all-new stunning Sunseeker Manhattan 68 flybridge motor yacht, launched at Boot 2020 in Düsseldorf - the largest international indoor boat show in the world. The yacht displayed here in the video has a retail price of circa £2,400,000 GBP Excluding VAT - loaded with all typical extras.
Highlights include....
4 guest cabins giving accommodation for 8, plus 3 en-suite heads compartments.
2 crew berths with en-suite, situated in the stern.
Powered by a pair of Twin MAN 1200hp shaft drive diesel engines (std are twin 1000) and there is also the option for Volvo Penta IPS 1350.
Stabilisation comes from a pair of Quick MC2X 16 gyros
Sleipner proportional bow and stern thruster controls with the addition of Xenta spare docking joystick system (and a 3rd helm station in the aft cockpit)

Absolutely stunning. The new wave of design in yachts is so exciting. This is one of the best I’ve seen. Love the Manhattan range by SS.

Stunning boat. Just a small tip, why don't you create a small gap between the base of the worktop and the top of fridge in order to store the sink's lid, when not needed?

Thanks Robert. Nick (Aquaholic) is a very good friend, he does a lot of work with us at Sunseeker. He's done an amazing job with his channel. I try to make my videos a little more in-depth, only as they're aimed specifically at our clients who can't get to shows and see the boats in person. Not many people will sit through a 20 min video for entrainment, but someone who may consider wanting to buy one, will want to get a bit more into the detail. It's actually quite good fun as you get better practiced at it, I take onboard all feedback good and bad, so hopefully each one gets a little better.

@@TheVirtualYachtBroker I think you are doing very well James. I happen to enjoy the more in depth videos as opposed to some of the others, (not counting Nick's of course). You still get a little strobing with the LED frequency against the video frame rate. But I can live with that. Great boat too.

Very nicely done. Excellent presentation. Figure out the camera settings or perhaps a different camera to address the flickering issues and you will be top notch.

Thanks very much, I've hopefully finally cracked the flicker on an upload I'm just working on now, unfortunately 24v DC lighting seems to be a real issue on this DJI camera that I'm using.

@@TheVirtualYachtBroker You do some excellent content, but the strobing is a real issue, I’ve only got DJI drones so don’t know their “Pocket” or other cameras, but suspect that like GoPro they default assume you are American and therefore “NTSC” and 29/30 frames shutter speed, see if you can select “PAL” and 25 or 50 FPS and that might make a difference, I also always use an external Mike (usually one of the Rode range) with a decent pop / wind shield

How do you buy it without VAT? Do you just pay local taxes where you reside or where it will be registered? Do you do all the maintenance?

Certain individuals are potentially eligible for tax relief in other parts of the world or perhaps a yacht might be owned by a commercial entity and therefore benefit from differing tax rules. It's a very broad subject hard to answer here. Yes we undertake all of the maintenance services associated with running a yacht. (we have 41 offices in 20 countries)

Buy it offshore Cayman islands, in my case might have to sign the sale order on a reservation with my Indian status card😜. So many ways, have you ever seen sales say can't be bought by American when in America?

Is there option for a crane on the flybridge?

I'm afraid not at this size. The larger 76 Yacht will take a crane as a factory option (for a small jetski up top), then a tender on the platform. On the 68 we recommend a jet tender on the platform.
