Odell Lake has several campgrounds to offer ~ Trapper Creek, Princess, Odell Creek and more ~ we selected Sunset Cove as it is a great RV and tent camping spot along the shore of Odell Lake. This would be a great spot if you had a boat on a trailer as it has a launch ramp, small marina and a breakwall. There are pull through sites and sites long enough for trailers, 5th wheels & motorhomes. We had a beautiful site with a lake view and literally no neighbors! Enjoy this review of Sunsent Cove on Odell Lake in the Oregon Cascades ~ camping at its finest!

Nice campground! Great price with view on the lake and no one around - hard to beat! Too bad for the road noise, though good that it gets quieter in the evening. Lovely all around!

Within Hiking Distance it was a nice spot for the night! The lake was pretty and our site was perfect!

Beautiful lake and campground. Too bad about the blue-green algae! That’s been a real problem this year in the Austin area. Several dogs have died from exposure to it. Thanks for sharing another great camping area. 👍

Gail Robinson we had always avoided the lakes with blue green algae when we had our dog - she loved to swim. It would have been hard to keep her out, so might have bypassed this one. Thanks for watching!

@@marvinthemaniac7698 there are so many fabulous lakes in this area! We also enjoyed Cultus Lake, Lava Lakes & further south, Diamond Lake & all of the waterfalls near there.

@@marvinthemaniac7698 oh wow - we stayed at the campground there years & years ago. Have you been along Highway 138 east of Roseburg where all of the waterfalls are? Farewell Bend & The Rogue River Gorge are amazing too.

@@marvinthemaniac7698 I have videos on Farewell Bend, The Rogue River Gorge, Susan Creek & what I called “Waterfall Row”. Older videos, but that whole area is stunning! Would be a great trip to plan. We are heading to Oregon soon - it’s been a couple of years since we’ve been there so I’m really looking forward to it! If you have any favorites, let me know 😬

Lived on the Oregon coast 15 years and enjoyed the lakes along hwy 101. Now 4 years South Central Oregon kayaking many lakes and the blue-green algae is horrible. I've gone out on lakes for 10 minutes then got off water. Too terrible to kayak in. Many many awesome lakes to kayak and enjoy.

We made the mistake years ago letting our last dog, Lexie swim in a somewhat slow moving river, then found out it had the algae in it ~ about had a heart attack! So have been super cautious since. Still beautiful though!
