DRAWING A RAVEN IN CHARCOAL | Halloween Raven + Tips

In this video, I am creating a very Halloween-like raven with charcoal pencils. I also give a few tips on how I worked with both black and white charcoal pencils to achieve this result!

I love how all month the desk has had a new Halloween decor piece every video 🙌🏻!! The white charcoal pencil is so interesting to me! I didn’t know till a couple of years ago that charcoal didn’t come in just the regular charcoal shade! This is your first time drawing a bird with charcoal 😱!! The talent just runs in your blood! I loveeeee blending stumps 🤩! The shading is incredible as always 😍😍! Glad you had the time to do this Raven Halloween drawing ✨. LOLZ Big Bird 😂! I’ll have to look up about this InkTober scandal ☕️!! I’m not a fan of drawing fur either. I haven’t used the white charcoal very much to form an opinion on it. Gel pens are so fun! Ive got some sparkly ones 🤣✨✨! Although I’ve never used them in an art piece before! Wow the white charcoal gives such a nice smooth effect 😍!! Well done art queen 👏🏻

Thank you so much Kari!🧡🧡 I’m too obsessed with Halloween so my decor is endless ahah. I actually loved the white charcoal a lot due to how smooth it gets and I plan to use it more now😊 glad you have enjoyed the spooky vids🎃 maybe one day we will draw fur😂😂

You did a great drawing, it makes me want to get mine out but maybe another time. I already have a watercolour painting and a pastel drawing on the go. You created a beautiful drawing, I enjoyed watching your process. 😊

Corvids are great smart birbs and you did a good job with the feathers 😀 this one looks like a raven I hardly ever use white charcoal, I just find it easier to erase highlights but it can create a nice smudgy effect when it is used

Wonderful rendering with the charcoal! We have Australian ravens, many of which live around our house, serenading us with their dulcet caws, lol. I might have to try drawing a raven with charcoal, as your picture is very inspiring. I have the same pencils, including the white ones. I am not very experienced or good with charcoal, haha.

Thank you Becky🧡 that is really cool, I haven’t seen many ravens around where I live, but I sure have a lot of crows🙄😂 you should definitely try out a raven drawing, they deserve more credit I think 😂 they are pretty cool birds
