@@Kbanz198 He is the creator of the show, he is hardly going to admit the show represent British Black people in false stereotypical light. While the show is good the majority of British Black misrepresentation of Black People as youth gang murders, it is a completely false damaging narrative.

Your take is understandable. As much as *you* don’t want to see it though, it is still other people’s LIVED experience. All of these characters are relatable for different black people in the U.K. The biggest issue with the Black movie scene at the moment, is how London centric it is. You’ll hear people talking about “Black British movies” but it’s all Londoners. It’s like the movie scene in this country forgets that there are black people in Liverpool, Leeds, Scotland etc.
