That's cool! I wish those characters showed up more as figures or toys than they did but it's good to see the movie getting some love after all these years.

In the UK PG ratings were first introduced in 1982. The Black Hole was a U RATING

These look great! Love the Black Hole. I am 3D printing a S.T.A.R. figure and old bob figure that I found online. They are bigger versions of the original action figures from the 70's.

Oh that's cool! There's not a lot of S.T.A.R. or Old Bob figures out there. You'll have to show them on your channel! I'm currently working on trying to get something that I hope will be very cool if everything works out. It might be a while though. I hope to show it here in the near future.

Great review. I only have the Mego Vincent and MAx, but I really need the others if possible, but they're proving to be either impossible to get, or extremely expensive in the UK.

@TerryOnTuesday Thank you! Yes they're getting increasingly harder to find. Old Bob from the original Mego figures is particularly difficult to find and he's very expensive.

The Black Hole did not get the love it deserved. The slow pacing seems to have hurt it compared to Star Wars. Slim and Roddy both went uncredited in the roles so they could be paid simply union scale for the film. They worked on it for a whopping day and half each, well into the post production process. Pickens couldn't figure out why they wanted his voice, but he just went with it, and gave them an amazing country twang on his actual voice.

@@outsider238 It happens a lot. Vincent Price doesn't speak in the Dr. Phibes movies because Corman wanted to pay him scale so they didn't have him speak for the entire movie... on camera. Tons of people go uncredited for a number of reasons, some just don't want to be associated with the movie. Some just want the paycheck, even at scale.
