I love how creative you are with your pantry and freezer staples! In our house, at the beginning of each week we pull out pantry items that are coming close to their “best before” date. Then we plan our meals around those plus anything suitable from fridge and freezer. Our food waste is WAY down, and our overall food cost is now lower than before.

I fry the flour tortillas and toss in cinnamon and sugar! Its old school cinnamon crispers!!! (From taco bell) Also like Elephant ears at the theme parks.

If I may give you a tip, when you are frying french frys or those chips, if you use a cake cooling rack on a cookie sheet to drain them on all the grease drains and the ones on the bottom doesn't get soggy like they sometimes do using paper towels. Your sons are growing so fast, the middle one for sure.I Love watching Y'all. PRAYERS

Spread softened cream cheese on a plate, platter or pan. Top with your favorite pizza sauce and toppings Serve with thick, ridged potato chips. Bambinos: Round Tostitos Pizza Sauce Shredded Mozzarella Italian seasoning (optional) Optional toppings Put chips on a sheet pan. Put a dollop of pizza sauce on each chip, put a pinch of mozzarella, then top with a pepperoni, or other favorite(s). Put in the oven long enough to melt cheese (very briefly). Serve! This is a good snack for kids to make because they can use the microwave if they’re too inexperienced to bake in the regular oven! Crescent Roll Sammies Two cans crescent rolls Lunchmeat Sliced cheese Roll out one can of the crescent roll dough to fill sheet pan. Put one layer of your choice of lunch meat, top with sliced cheese of your choice. Cover with one more layer of lunchmeat. Top with second can of dough (I roll mine out between sheets of wax paper) and put on top. Use baking instructions on crescent roll can. (Mine doesn’t follow the time on the can, so I keep an eye on it.) Lunchmeat Quesadillas Flour Tortillas Lunchmeat Cheese Tomato Onion Mustard Put the filling you like between two flour tortillas. Heat in pan until a pretty grilled color. Cut like a pie and serve. This is soooo good! *I make simple, easy snacks.
