INSTRUCTIONS
Begin with Ch20.
Round 1: Sc in the first “bump” from the hook, PM in this stitch, Sc in each of the remaining bumps (20 sc). Continue on other side of the beginning chains and Sc in each chain (20 Scs worked on each side of the beginning chain, 40 sts total)
Round 2: click row counter to show “2”. RM, BSc next stitch, PM. Bsc in each stitch end at stitch before the marker.
Rounds 3 - 9: as for round 2, but click the stitch marker to indicate which row you are about to work.
Round 10: RM, BSc in next st, PM, BSc in next 17 sts, Sc in next st. Ch2, skip 2 stitches, SC in next stitch. If not making flower skip to *.
Optional: Make Flower
ch3, Dc2tog around last Sc, ch3, slst in same space. Working into sts from last round: (Ch3, Dc2tog, ch3, slst) in next 2 sts. Ch3, Dc2tog around next Sc, ch3, slst in same space, (ch3, Dc2tog, ch3, slst) twice in ch2 space.
*Continue round by working a BSc in each st, ending with a slst in last stitch before marker. Fasten off yarn leaving a tail long enough to sew on button. Sew on the button, weave in yarn tails.
