@@JakeReedmusicSo, if you really wanna know, the term “cap” is slang for “lying”. Whenever you hear someone say “stop the cap” they are really saying “stop lying”. On the flip side, if you hear someone say “No cap” that means “true”. So, in conclusion; “Cap” means “Lie/Lying “No cap” means “True”

500 series is 16 volt and the bae 1073 is 24 volts which gives more headroom in the recordings

I dont know what it is about BAE but its so much more physically attractive than the other clones. I think they use a bit more green in the paint job or something. All the other clones look more grey.

Either Damp or Dampen would be correct. "Damp" as a verb is seldom used; however, the gerund "damping" is commonly used with reference to drums.

My Digi 002 was my iLok, kind of. You couldn’t use Pro Tools without it - but I think it was a track-limited version of Pro Tools.
