You’re my hero ! Couldn’t find the way to take the exterior panels out !👍

I like how those side panels slide effortlessly up and out. On my Trane getting those out and back in was crazy difficult.

Tried cleaning my unit today. For the life of me could not get the side panels to slide. Thank you for sharing this video

Thank you for showing how to remove the side panels. I was trying to remove the corner pieces which obviously didn't work. Will try again tomorrow to hopefully remove all the leaves and spray it clean.

So satisfying to see the before and after of these coil cleanings... another great video! 👍

Its amazing how much dirt was accumulated on those coils. Particularly since that area where the unit is located doesn't seem to be an area where there would be a lot of dirt swirling around. That little stretch of grass appears to be at least 10-15 feet away. I need to do mine. Peeking through the exterior cover it looks clean. Good work.

Attention to details win the race. Great job.

You know it is a dirty coil when you need to brush it, then hose it off in order to get it clear enough to hit it with coil cleaner twice. Great video..

Hey thanks, I really needed to know how those side panals come off. After the video, it was easy.

Thank you Sir for your video. I tried to pull out the grill a few times but was afraid to brake it. Thanks to you, next time I will be more rough and hopefully don't kill myself.

It would be nice if the next time you do a cleaning service, show everyone the inside of the a/c condenser before, during and after the cleaning process. Thank you for showing everyone how to rinse off a dirty condenser…

Would you please make a video how to pull out and clean Trane evaporator coil. Thank you !

Why would you not vacuume the coils first.

My unit had HEAVY pollen build up. My unit failure was root-caused to a bad TXV valve. Unit install 4/2014; failure 6/2024 - yep. 2 months past warranty. Would you say the lack of cleaning caused the valve to go bad? How do I even know it is the valve?
@MiHeatingGuy2 ай бұрын
I don't think a dirty condenser would cause the problem with the txv. But I do not know the whole situation you have going on there

Hello: Thanks for posting this. I have a Trane XR, just finished cleaning mine. I tell you what, it was hard for the first time. Hardest part is getting the sides off. And than re assembling the top was a pain in my @$$… but I got it. When I re started the machine it has a slight humming noise and I was like , was it doing that before when running? I think that’s normal. It not Loud … just slight hum like it’s running. Otherwise , I got I got it re assembled. What type of brush is that? And what type of cleaner ? I get nervous to brush against those fins but it would help.

What could be reason that my Trane XR13 has water under it? I took off the shield and see water dripping off the coil pipe. Could it be the refrigerant leaking?
@Andy-kt1hx Жыл бұрын
Probably just sweating. If it were leaking you’d be facing more problems

The bottom (inside) must be as grimy as the fins.. Does it have to be vacuumed out? Or will it exit while cleaning the fins?? This will be a first for me. I know it hasn't been cleaned for awhile.. Going to do it..
@acrservicesmathewr75652 жыл бұрын
There are drain holes on the bottom oviously or it would fill up with rain water. But leaves will stick to the bottom of coil. Then the water wont drain as much and cause the coil to rust. So as long as most of it is removed. The small pieces will wash out

Besides probably being harder to clean, do you think these spiked coils perform better then traditional finned coils?
@Wallriss2 жыл бұрын
From what I’ve heard if both systems are kept equally clean the Spine fin technology maintains the units efficiency longer than a standard coil.
@devinjonathan56812 жыл бұрын
@@Wallriss yeah, seems like the spikes provide more surface area for heat to dissipate.

IS THE UNIT OFF WHEN CLEANING THIS? Also, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I LEFT UNIT ON AND JUST SPRAYED WATER THROUGH GRILL WITHOUT TAKING GRILLS OFF????
@MiHeatingGuy2 жыл бұрын
Yes the power is off and it wouldn't get very clean If I just sprayed through the grill

Burn off the cottonwood with your mapp gas, while the unit is running. Much quicker.
