Check out Bag -O-Day Crochet, Bella Coco, Daisy Farms Crafts (or maybe it says crochet), Expression Fiber Art, Rich Textures Crochet, Littlejohn's yarn ManualTallerPeru, Fiber Spider, Milagro Ena, Naztazia/ Donna Woolf, Alison Russell, Nati Crochet... There are so many more that are great demonstrators. Looking up these ladies and effĕte gent will get you to a lot of my other favorites, more than likely. Oh! Don't be afraid to go on ahead and try those videos that pop up that have only foreign language and the word "knit" in English because they probably really mean "crochet". A lot of times, they will have the word örgü / orgu , which means knit(ting) in Turkish.. but in the video they will be crocheting a good amount of the times that you Tap on that video, sometimes it actually will be knit video, but these ladies show it so well I believe I can do it. Also a lot of these ladies use the word knit but willl also use the word crochet ( cro-CHETT) and they will be crocheting. The Turkish word for crochet is tig işi / tig isi, and once again the title might also have the word "knit" in the title and they will use it inter changeably because the definition of knit basically just means come together or grow together or knit together tangle together, or to heal up and it is said that the flesh knit together which means it grew back together or healed, as in the gash knit up or knit together again. If you see the words, çok kolay , it means very easy in Turkish. Bebe battaniye, means baby blanket - which can also be the front end back of a sweater and then you can figure out how to make the shoulders and sleeves easily enough. On because you have to learn a whole new outlet and but if you see some Russian writing or some Asian writing in a title even Arabic don't be afraid because they are GREAT tutorials. We are talking unique, not so average crocheting. Some of the colored choices are not quite so cultural to me, So keep that in mind - they may not match your color pallet either. But as always, choose your own colors that make you happy. Something may be a unique design but you don't like the colors, don't dismissed the item.

@@ahyanaliahyanali8716 anywhere they sell yarn or crochet hooks it is called a Tunisian crochet hook,and you can also find them with a long tail of plastic with a little block or ball or stopper on the end to keep the project from sliding off . The tail coils up and uses less space for storage instead of being a long straight stick of aluminum that is hard to find a place to store sometimes. These tales can be extra long so you can do extra-wide projects them.

@@nancysimpson1405 this is a crochet hook. If you are in the US it is very easy to find.

@nancySimpson I think this is a regular/average crochet hook. you can find these "aluminum" crochet hooks at Joanne's Fabrics, Michaels and most craft stores. They usually have a small dent for the logo and your thumb but this does not affect the Tunisian crochet patterns the yarn just slides right over it... 🙂 There are also Tunisian crochet hooks that have a long cord that comes off the the handle and those are more rare to come by.

That looks longer than a traditional crochet hook, I don't think you could get that many stitches on a standard hook.
