I am so glad that you played it. Final Fantasy XIII trilogy is the first final fantasy game that I ever played and it has a special place in my heart. I loved everything about this game, the characters, the story, the world setting, the gods... It was just so beautiful, and I think it's obvious otherwise I doubt it would've spawned 2 other sequels

A very underrated entry in the series. The graphics are phenomenal for 2009. Lightning is equally beautiful and badass. I love this game.

This was a criminally underrated game with excellent voice acting, a masterpiece of a soundtrack, and to top it off top tier animation for the cutacenes! And the LORE! I did a whole project in college on the Fabula Nova mythos:it's intense!

Lightning's weapon of choice in this first game is a Blazefire Saber, which is a combination weapon that can switch between gun and sword mode. So in a sense it IS a gunblade actually XD

Don't know why I got recommended this so late but I'm glad to see another playthrough and perspective on this amazing game! Hope you enjoyed the trilogy

Good luck keeping up with the story on this one! Would definitely recommend continually checking the story datalog section when you reach new areas, helps keep you familiar with the crazy jargon!

I am so excited for this new Series of Final Fantasy 13! That beginning was amazing, was a great introduction to the Character’s too. I really like Lighting Character she’s awesome, I am happy that the Gameplay is turned based & and also you can do some free roam exploration. The graphics also look great, the story is definitely has me intrigued. Really enjoyed the Episode, glad your enjoying it! 🤗

People bash FF13 but i actually enjoyed it as an OG fan, the combat is very fast and smooth once you get the hang of it.

Yo girl, I was literally just watching part one of another LP for this game in preparation for this upload, because I wasn’t sure whether you were gonna start this game, but finally you’re playing two games at the same time that I’m interested in😂 Or at least you’re uploading - how far ahead are you actually playing right now? How are you liking the game? What do you think of the characters? The data log is definitely gonna be your best friend - and you’ll probably only find out more about the terms in the data log I guess unless you just pay close attention to cut scenes that most people just recommend reading the data log

Blind? Lets go! The battle system is awesome especially near the end of the game when you can tackle the optional superboss type enemies. Yes it's fast paced but I love it for how you can quickly switch to any class combination. Its original. If you do plan on doing all the postgame stuff I recommend beating the main story first because you get a Crystarium Progression from it that allows you to become godlike haha. If you do all the optional stuff before finishing the game there's nothing to use the final crystarium boost for if that makes sense Unmatched graphics even now but imagine what it was like for us playing on ps3 on its release ❤ Beautiful music ❤ If you do the whole trilogy the ending in LR is a huge pay off. You made the right decision to stop playing LR since it would be full of spoilers. The gameplay is also different from the first two games (its like a cross between 10-2 and 7 remake if you have played those). Well technically 7 remake took elements from Lightning Returns and this game since they were released before

(Lighting says I was a soldier - 14:03 - familiar dialogue - guess it's time to compare what's similar to Final Fantasy 7 Remake - like filling the ATB gauge during combat plus fighting with a sword and a background storyline similar to Cloud Strife!! and Yes Lebreau - You said Slashterpiece Gaming - "she is so cool and I freaking love her outfit - 41:30" and I also like short Mini dress that Lebreau wears !! and Snow says - what is his plan - "Charge in, guns blazing" (42:40) - just Like Barret Wallace said at begining in chapter 16 of Final Fantasy 7 Remake !!! yes Slashterpiece Gaming - great facial expression - this is what a five-star winner looks like (54:40) Keep it coming and Keep at it !!!

Oh no! My favourite Final Fantasy and I'm not going to be able to watch it because you've chosen to play with the atrocious American voice acting! Why would you do that?! I'm being overdramatic lol. I don't suppose it's easy reading subtitles in a second (or third?) language and playing at the same time. I don't blame you for the choice at all. I was just SO excited to see that you had played this, and then... well, I hope you still enjoyed the game. The translation is very poor and the voice acting even worse. They changed the music in the Western version as well, and that was indescribably bad. I guess it didn't spoil too much for you as I see you're currently playing the sequel. I going to hop in that playlist and cross my fingers it's in Japanese. I will still love you if it isn't lol

Sorry. These games just aren’t for me. The FF13 Trilogy isn’t my favorite. Sure there are some Aspects I see potential in, some music bits are great. But That’s it. Personally, this game just drains me.

This game is SOOO BAD. No story, no gameplay, no exploration, literally the only decent is the music. But nonetheless I hope you can find the experience at least enjoyable.

I love FFXIII more than FFVII and FFVI some of these people trying to tell you how bad they think it is and hate is, sad. Let people enjoy things people!! Also another playthrough of FFXIII is happiness 🫶🏽
