If Nigeria needs to win these matches, they need to adopt the 'No gree for anybody' spirit. That's all.

I like Deiree Ellis (i think she is tactically very sound). It is not a surprise she has won the Caf Women's Coach of the Year award back to back in the last two years. Furthermore, i like Randy Waldrum - the world cup has shown that - he can read a game very well and he is calm, respectful to opponents but vastly experienced. Bayana Bayana would give us serious problems but we have the better players. I think if we have corrected our mistakes against Morocco in the last Wafcon & also corrected our mistakes against England in the last womens world cup (we would qualify for the womens olympic football tournament). Finally, defensively - we have to be spot on - no sluggish defending by our players that would lead to a red card. In addition, Super Falcons must take their chances. Wishing Super Falcons the best of luck.

There were no mistakes in our match against England in the World Cup, they did exactly what they needed to do. The way you narrated the England match is as if we lost the match. It was a draw. We didn’t lose any match in the last World Cup. The last match was decided by penalties, which is like a toss of a coin.

@@allanoh7732I respect your view however, with an extra player we are supposed to control the game and stretch England more - if we had a playmaker - in the midfield, that can create spaces when Toni Payne was substituted. (We had good players but not technical players). That match against England was there to be won.

@@333AncientGates I agree. Tactical mistakes by the coach caused the team to not take advantage of the England red card. A good coach would have buried that game in extra time

I think you're right, we need a playmaker in the team especially in the midfield to create space and hold the ball creatively. The best we have now is Toni Payne or move Ahibade back to the midfield however, the thirst for a good creative midfielder is still there.

This is by far the greatest understatement ever....lol! Banyana Banyana has beaten Naija at least the last 2 times they met, and won the last WAFCON. So yes, beating the current African champions will not be easy at all, especially since they have proven to be formidable adversaries in recent years. But we no gree sha. I hope Naija makes it back to the Olympics after almost 2 decades now... 🤲🏾🤔🙇🏾‍♂️

I think we are forgetting some very fundamental facts about the South African team. The last two wins they had against the super falcons was at Wafcon and the Aisha cup. They would not be playing the same set of players this time around, and secondly, the super falcons has a better World Cup experience that will provide an added motivation. The present super falcons have matured and grown and I believe they will show us just what they are made of on Friday

@allanoh7732 I hope you're right but if there's anything our teams have exhibited over the years, it's inconsistency. They've not been to the Olympics in almost 2 decades but are one of a few teams that have been to every World Cup since its inception in China 1991. We shall see though...
