Is it better to swap cancel or jus stay as calc for the buffs have u tried both

Then if the outro gets wasted, is she still better than Sanhua when playing with swap cancels?

@@hussainalom5354 If both plays perfectly (vs not moving + attacking enemy) which is Spreadsheed Calculation, hypercarry playstye has a bit more DPS and a lot easier to play. But let me ask you this, can you play this game vs lv 90-100 bosses without dodging when doing dps? Sure if someday they release a broken shielder character like Zhongli in the future

I know right? Animation cancelin makes this game has really high skill ceiling. Just lower the number if they feel this too OP, dont remove the mechanics.

@@Kekon This is exactly what I thought. I'd have pulled for her if they just lowered the damage bonus but now, I could just choose any dps I like instead of her to do swap cancels. The satisfaction of them working really well together is gone.

i mean i get the point cause as a gacha game it will attract casual players that dont necessarily have skills or want to have it to play especific characters BUT well.. just let people have fun!

I’m glad for people like you who, despite the nerf, still use the system extensively because they genuinely enjoy it and aren’t just chasing damage numbers. Most people can’t even swap cancel effectively but sit and cry that it was gutted. No…them extending the cooldown between swaps or making certain action unswappable would be guttting it. People are still clearing content crazy fast with the nerf, imagine if the tech still existed, it was problematic for the games health and would’ve definitely made balancing issues. I wish people would just accept reality and stop trying to force changes on Kuro. Already trying to abuse their kindness which is kind of sad.

There's still incentive to quickswap to build up concerto and energy with the party. It's only when Yinlin's concerto is available, you'd want to just stay on buffed character. I have a feeling many people are saying Yinlin's clunky because they don't take advantage of quick swapping during her longer animations (her 3rd/4th basic, 2nd skill cast, and enhanced heavy attack).

Tbh I wonder about the math too. Chalcharo big chunk of dmg is his 1st slash. Like does his basic during his ult state is basic attack or considerate liberation resonance? I hate how convoluted wording in this game is btw, it is downright an eyesore to read. One of the worst I have seen so far and I play a lot of cRPG turnbased game with mega tons of text regularly. It just $ucks so much to read.

Look at the future character's design and see if you like them. If not, then go for the weapon. Personally I'm going for the weapon since I think it looks very cool and can be used by other characters if need be. Also I don't like any of the future characters

If u know the timings to land thundering mephis then use that for sure as it does more dmg overall. The only reasons ppl use tempest is cuz it is a 2-hit sequence which is shorter vulnerability frame or they got better stat rolls on it.

Their actions are just not smooth, even to the point the battle feels slow. But I still see good coverage with quickswap, tho not sure about optimal DPS.

Jiyan big pp damage and huge AoE coverage. But ultimately you need more than one team for the endgame and you need more than one element because some bosses and enemies can have huge dmg resistance against certain elements.

Yinlin optimally should be played in a quick swap team even with Calcharo if you are skilled enough to execute it the playstyle efficiently, yes you lose the outro buff on Calcharo but Yinlin will offset this dmg loss and this playstyle is better for surviving harder fights because Calcharo is very vulnerable when he does his death messenger attack while in his res liberation (ultimate).

@@khaledbou7770 refer to Prydwen website and their calculations on yinlin and calcharo optimal rotations. You think the boss you are fighting is going to pose for a photoshoot? You will either tank hits with your hypercarry calcharo or you quickswap to keep him alive and don't waste time watching him do his long ass animations and also make him vulnerable during that time. This game has fights that keep you reactive unlike genshin where you just do your setup and press buttons in the correct order to win. Of course this is all tied to ToA and hologram bosses on higher difficulty, open world anything goes.

Her preferred play style is still quick swap even with Calcharo, when you quick swap and utilize the down time of animations, Yinlin will offset the dmg loss from her outro buff and it also benefits Calcharo surviving harder fights because he is very open and vulnerable during his death messenger attack. Don't always assume youtube guide makers to have the best answer and always realize spreadsheet damage does not equal real battle scenario damage where you need to dodge/parry/quickswap to survive.
